4th November 2024 : Shores of Solace : 4:30 p.m.
Tam coughed with Linh by his side. "What's hap-happening?" Linh slowly stood by his side. "Where's Wylie?" This time she said it more worriedly.
They moved through the fog and found Sophie screaming for help. "Please! I can't lose him, again. Help me!" Tam rushed over as Linh cleared the fog away. Keefe was bleeding - a lot.
His chest was torn with a long scar. His left leg was bleeding, it felt like all the blood in his body would, soon, run out.
"We need to get him to Elwin," Tam told her. "He'll be all better as soon as you know it." As soon as the group got back together, Biana hailed Elwin and the whole situation was blurry. The entire group surrounded the injured Keefe, fussing and hoping he would be alright. Tam just sat there, staring. He'd never liked Keefe, but now, seeing him taking his freakin' last breath! He sighed. There was nothing he could do. This was all Neverseen.
"Ok! Everyone out! I can't handle it anymore..." Keefe would've broken the tension with a joke.
Tam got up to leave, but Elwin stopped him. "You've been quiet the whole time, so, I'm entrusting you with this job. Do what Keefe did."
"WHAT!?"
"Crack jokes, have fun, be reckless. Just, do what Keefe did." And with that, Elwin pushed him out.

Same day : A couple of miles behind Shores of Solace : 4:30 p.m.
Alvar walked back guiltily to the Neverseen's base. Why did I do that? I could've hurt someone. I did hurt someone. Keefe.
"Yeah! Nice job, Ruy!" Glimmer kissed he boyfriend on the cheek.
They had blasted a human bomb in the Shores of Solace, since Keefe lived there. They had known Sophie had an admiration towards that Sencen boy. He had never blown up a house before. Never. Alvar was done for. He had been subjected to the most feared in all the Neverseen.
He had gone soft.

5th November 2024 : Havenfield : 8:00 a.m
Sophie woke up, sweating.
"I can't do this!" She dragged her feet out of bed and looked in her mirror. "Wow, you look exhausted!"
Sophie's high-pitched scream echoed through the hallways.
"Woah, blondie! Don't you remember me? Your best friend? Vertina..."
"No! And don't call me 'blondie'."
"It's fun."
"No, it's not."
The mirror girl sighed. "I guess nobody remembers me anymore. Not even you. My frenemie." She snorted out the last word. I guess it meant something to her. Little did she remember her last conversation with Vertina. But, Vertina did clearly:
"I don't like you, blondie."
"Same, but, we can be friends."
"We're enemies!"
"Friends!"
"Enemies!"
"Fre-"
"-nimies!"
"Eh, I can live with that."
"Back to the present, mirror girl." Sophie waved her palm in front of Vertina's face.
"Ok, ok. What is it!"
"This is what happened the past few months..."
As Sophie spilled everything to Vertina, a sense of familiarity crept along her mind right from her heart. She'd done this before, and after she was done telling Vertina her sorry tale, she felt a weight lift off her shoulders. Like a boulder being lifted by pretty pink balloons.
She realized she trusted Vertina, Grady and Edaline, Biana, Dex, Tam, Linh, Wylie, Fitz, Marella, Maruca and (very surprisingly) Stina.
I hop they'll be with me to the very end.

Same day : Splendor Plains : 8:30 a.m.
Keefe was lost in darkness. He didn't know where he was or what he was doing there. He just knew he was alone. His consciousness drifted in the night scape, until he heard his name. This mystery girl had been haunting him since Day 1 of his life there.
Finally he had the nerve to speak up, "I'm Keefe, who are you?"
No reply.
"I didn't think you would answer..."
"Ok, for the last time, who. The. Freakin'. Hell. Are. You?!"
"Are you ok, now? Feeling better? I'm coming to visit right this instant-"
"Stop." It was a small word, but the mystery girl stopped talking and actually listened instead of worrying over him. It was nice, really. No one had ever cared for him that way. But, he'd finally recognized the voice. How could he forget? "Sophie?"
