2nd January 2025: Everglen : Midnight
Keefe breathed a sigh. A day had passed, and still no sign of Sophie. What if she were still stuck at the Neverseen's base? What if they cursed her? This question, among many others, stood out. What if Keefe never got to tell her how he felt?
His heart leapt out when he saw her honey-brown eyes. His emotions went sky-rocketing, practically to the moon and back, when he saw her milky blonde hair. His lips trembled with nervousness. The butterflies kept fluttering and farting in his stomach, making him nauseous (It is totally the farts)
He was too busy thinking how butterflies fart without a visible butt that he forgot he was supposed to bringing Sophie back! Dex had to shake him out of his farty trance.
"Come on, man! Brainstorm!" Dex said.
"Keefe was brainstorming, while thinking of his lovie-dovie Sophie!" Biana teased, making Dex blush. They all knew he had an obvious crush on her. Biana had a, well, less than obvious crush... But it was there. She knew it, deeeeeeeeeeeeep down.
He went back to brainstorming plans. They were all sitting in Everglen's great hall and were trying, and big time failing, to think of a way to bring Sophie back. He was also feeling guilty. Did it count as him leaving her there? Sophie told him to run, but, he didn't have much choice. He had felt majorly conflicted. Save Sophie and probably give up both of them, or save himself?
Keefe sighed. Help, Sophie. I need you.
Same day : Lumenaria : Same time
Sophie crawled out of whatever hole she had crawled through to get to wherever they were now. The top of the shimmering spires surrounding her said everything. The nearby Four Seasons Tree was supplying a whole lot of oxygen, and she had to agree it was helping with her dizziness.
The stupid hole was covered with green, icky liquid. Ro would've loved to collect it. It might've been poisonous bacteria! I COULD'VE DIED!!! Sophie sighed as Alvar waddled out of the hole.
"That... was something... I will never... do... again!" He was having trouble breathing, looks like his cardio wasn't great... But he still had abs.
That reminded her of Keefe. Keefe and his beautiful abs...
Ugh! Snap out of it, Sophie! But, thinking about it for a little while... NO!!! Why!...!!!
Sophie groaned out loud. Lumenaria was a bad place to be without a leaping crystal or a home crystal. Her friends were probably lying low. Everyone who knew her was probably lying low. So any hope of getting to Havenfield was gone. But before she fainted down to the floor, she transmitted :
Please, Keefe... Please help me... I'm here... I'm right here... Lumenaria... Help, please... please. Please!
