I wait on the bench, arms crossed. I've been waiting for others to arrive for over 15 minutes, contemplating on leaving. Of course I'm not alone, but I'd rather be on the bench than with Ino or Choji.

I look at some kids in front of me, running to some area on the right.

I relax and put my head back, unable to care less. I sit there staring into the dull sky until someone interrupts me, slamming into my leg. My eyes immediately dart to the right, focusing on something else in the background.

I'm ready to doze off again until one of them suddenly grabs her which captures my attention.

I roll my eyes, I really don't feel like getting up, but she saw me, so I hesitate, then force myself up.

I'm rendered useless before I can help, with Naruto coming from behind and grabbing around her. Something about it ticks me off, but I should be relieved anyways, more work off my shoulders.

For some reason, seeing Naruto always around her annoyed me, but I was the one who hesitated, I don't know why I'm irritated.

"Thanks Naruto" I said, masking the lingering feeling of annoyance. I got the feeling he was taking this Prince Charming situation as if I was helpless, i wanted to tell him that I could've gotten out of that without him.

He seems to be mostly in his own world though, zoning out in Sasukes direction. It almost looks like Naruto is boasting, or maybe I'm just reading into things.

I follow behind Naruto as I see Ino coming up to me.

She greets me with a hug, "Hey, where've you been? I've been SO bored."

"Hey, I just found out that there was a meet up, so i was at a cafe with Hinata a few minutes ago." I replied, leaving Naruto's side.

"Oh," She turns my attention by pointing to the skateboarding rink behind me "you ever been on one of those?"

Without waiting for a response, she interlocks with my arms and takes me to the practice area.

"Okay, so let me show you the basics"

While Ino explains to me, I slowly loose interest as I gaze into the distance, spotting a redhead just ahead, heading straight for Sasuke and Naruto.

I watch her dumb figure as she taps on Naruto, seemingly asking for help.

"okay, and then you put your feet here and balance."

She pauses to look at me "Sakura are you listening?"

I snap out, "yup, mm hm" I say knowingly. Great! Now I lost sight of them. I scan the area, luckily it wasn't hard to find her dazzling red hair again.

She's practicing with Naruto, I begin to see her hidden plot as I watch. She's practicing in front of Sasuke, as she pretends to fall on him. What a dumb move, Sasuke wouldn't fall for anything like that.

I stand there a second later, my mouth agape, watching as she falls into his arms like she's helpless,

I could practically see her foaming at the mouth from being under Sasukes grasp. it looks like she's in a trance, not listening to a word he's uttering as he helps her up.

I felt slightly irritated for some reason

Clearly Naruto's teaching wasn't sufficient because this girl didn't learn a single thing.

I demonstrate what to do after helping her back up as I hop on the board, keeping my knees bent and lifting my back foot over my front with ease.

I land with a clack before grabbing it as I hand it back to her. She giggles before apologizing and asking me to help her up on the board.

"so.. like this Sasuke?"

Ino suddenly lifts me up and has me try out her trick on the skateboard, though I wasn't paying attention.

I step on as I lift my arms out by my side to balance myself, "am I doing it?"

Ino shakes her head with a sigh, "Yeah, good job standing on it. Cmon, let's get you to actually move this time." As she gives me a gentle push.

I watch in horror as I glide way more to the left than expected, suddenly headed toward a deep ramp. I panicked as my wheels speed up right before hitting a crack which sent me flying, the skateboard flinging from underneath me.

my eyes closed, preparing myself to land on the hard concrete.

I'm met with surprise as I find myself falling into a sturdy frame that held on to me.

I turn my gaze from Karin when I hear gasps from behind me. I whip my head around to see someone flying right into my direction, quickly grabbing the figure before they hit the floor.

I take most of the hit, covering their head with my hand. I wince at the sharp pain that thundered in my hand. I open my eyes after we stop rolling for what feels like forever, and find myself holding onto that girl from class.

I let go of the girl and sit myself upright, though I struggle as I find her on top of me. Unsure, I move her shoulders, getting increasingly worried as her body remained sort of limp.

"Are you hurt? Sakura."

"Sakura."

Despite the fact that we're both falling, i feeel strangely confident. I'm held so tightly, I'm certain that I'm safe in that quick moment.

We tumble onto the ground, still intertwined from someone's grasp as we come to a stop.
Struggling to gain consciousness, my shoulders are suddenly propped so I'm upright, though still dazed as I wince open my eyes.

When I finally do open them, my heart skips a beat when I find myself being held onto by Sasuke?.

For a quiet moment, all I can hear are our heartbeats, thumping together like a melody. And before I could do anything, his foreign touch alerts me, "Sakura."

Dazed, I realize I'm on top of Sasuke who's trying to gain my attention, though I space out as I see Ino's figure returning in my line of sight.
