the morning after (again) :

Sakuras POV

I looked over to Sasuke who sat at the far side of his room, unmoving with a fixed gaze on his phone.

Weird.

Not once has he looked over in my direction or even spoken to me.

I couldn't help but wonder if I did something to upset him, though I was sure I did nothing wrong.

"What were you saying?" Naruto inquired, pulling me out of my focus.

I recollected my thoughts,

"Oh, I just wanted to apologize if I did anything crazy last night, I totally don't remember anything!" I said, waving my hands.

"Mmmm.. Nope." Naruto said blatantly after itching his head for a few seconds.

"I can't speak for Sasuke though," he turned to him, "He carried you home." Naruto stated plainly.

There was an outright silence as Sasuke perked his head up, staying silent.

"Carry me?" I audibly asked out-loud as my view
drifted back to Sasuke, who flinched ever so slightly from what I said.

Something was off about his behavior, though I couldn't exactly put my finger on it. What could I have possibly done? Perhaps I said something rude again last night.

I try jogging my memory, but the farthest I can remember is talking to Ino in a bedroom before heading back out to dance...

I suddenly let out an airy gasp, a short memory flashed in my mind as I try to savor the images for as long as I could:

Couch..

living room...

Sasuke...

It couldn't be. Was that a fake memory..

"Sakura Chan, you know anyone who owns a red truck..?" Naruto pointed out the window as he scratched his head.

I push aside my conflicting feelings, from all I know, it could've very well been a dream.

I followed him to the window in confusion, peeking through the blinds.
