My head was rushing, I'd never thought I would get this angry over a boy, it was almost laughable.
I knew I had to let it go, but I couldn't.
I mean, was I repulsive or something? I can understand if he was a bit nervous to tell me, but denying it ever even happened pisses me off. What if I walked away, completely unaware I'd just lost my first kiss?
But that was the least of my problems. My mother was downstairs, waiting.
"Be home by 11:15 sharp."

"1 month." She repeated
I stood for a moment in disbelief, then decided to pass the time with useless activities like an hour nap, finishing homework, drawing in my diary, and folded some random laundry.
Immersed in my book, I suddenly heard shuffling outside of the house. As bored as I was, I perked up and went over to my window to check it out. Peeking out, I didn't see anything except the darkening view, the low hum of the streetlights flickering, maybe I imagined it.
I returned to my bed and buried myself in my sheets, thinking "Maybe I could get all my sleep in now, sneak downstairs to the TV while my mom's asleep."
Slowly, my thoughts dissipated as I gave into rest.
CLANK. CLANK. CLANK.
I jolt up from my sleep and quickly glanced at the time:
