Sakura:
My loud alarm hammers in my ears, scaring me awake.
Another day, another early school morning I'm expected to survive.
Im in class by 7:20 AM, barely keeping myself awake. I stayed up until 12 last night completing a project for Guy Sensei's class, i can't form a thought running off of 5 hours of sleep, it's like a thick fog in my head.
I pop in my AirPods and turn on some music to wake me up, concealing them behind strands of my hair. I'm quickly shut down by Kakashi Sensei, once again appearing behind me with his uncaring look at the worst time and confiscating them for the day, just my luck.
Time drags by, I'm trying to get through 5th period while ignoring Sasuke and Naruto's bickering. I'm barely staying awake when suddenly, my teacher mentions something that piques my interest:
"We have an optional school field trip on November 10th. Those attending, be prepared with snacks, money, and any other essentials. We will be gone the whole day from 7:30 to 2:10."
I immediately perk up and turn around to face Ino and I'm assured when we have the same look with the exciting gleam in our eyes. A field trip might be exactly what I need—a full day free from all classes! We both get up with haste and collect a form.
I turn it over and scan it greedily: History Museum? Boring, but anything that lets me skip school is worth it in my eyes. I quickly sign my name, assuming my mom wont care anyways, I print her signature as well.
Suddenly, I get a light tap on my shoulder somewhere behind me, expecting Ino once again, except I find Naruto.
In a hushed whisper, I quickly question him "you switched seats?" Furrowing my brows.
"Yeah, Kakashi Sensei wasn't looking. Anyways, you going?" He asks with hope.
"Yep" I say excitedly.
"What a coincidence, me too. I guess this is fate" he says with a dramatic, fake gasp.
I roll my eyes at him then turn back to Kakashi Sensei speaking:
"Remember, only students who passing every class may go." he says, looking meaningfully at Naruto.
....
"Naruto switch seats."
I hear a load groan behind me and he slides his chair out and trudges back to his desk, he has a knack for having everyone's attention on him.

After class, Naruto comes up to me with Sasuke trailing behind him, looking bored but mildly curious.
"Naruto what are you doing, let's go."
"Hold on, I need to talk to Sakura alone." He says, then turning to face him.
