I'd like to make this very clear as I uploaded this for the very first time on Wattpad, this book (The one I wrote that was once on Amazon but had terrible guidance by these people) was stolen this summer from me, and published on websites I did not consent to without the full editing of the novel. It started off as a novella but is now a full length 66k word novel. What you have here is the ultimate ending of of somewhat proper editing? I edited it by myself sadly after the controversy so, the human eye will always miss small things by one person. Sometimes two, sometimes even five. The first time it needed editing, I was scammed out by a huge bunch of indie authors on TikTok. I will never list the names because , unfortunately I have a lot of other things going on in my life that do not resolve around this drama. I have dealt with it for months but finally have the courage. If it wasn't for the two readers who wanted to see the finished work with some minor spelling mishaps, this would never happen.  So, therefore, you will never know who they are unless you have already read their books and notice the intense similarities and see the dialogue, or when you were on social media when all of this was going down and I was "cancelled" as they are actively profiting from my content. I also left TikTok so I could stop seeing other authors stealing people's works while they were minors. I wrote this book in early 2024 and it was published just as a school project but it ended up getting like 20 reads and they wanted it again after missing the characters. I had lies spread about me alongside intense blackmail by a bunch of 20, 30, and believe it or not, 40-year-olds even though I took it off all amazon shelves as soon as the "exposing video" of me came out. I am 17 years old which harmed my mental health in ways I cannot describe and caused emotional distress when all I wanted to do was share my apart of my culture and my life story through the main characters. I know what mental health is like as I struggled my whole childhood dealing with it. I have a mentally ill mother a mentally ill father and myself having to induce social anxiety and PTSD from it. I do not play about mental health. I'm not a bully, I'm not ableist (as I have grown up with a wonderful woman known as GMA who has taken care of a girl with cerebral palsy longer than I have been alive. The same woman who raised me.), I'm not a manipulator (I do not understand how I can actively manipulate a bunch of people who are old enough to be my mother, at this time.), I'm not homophobic, and I'm certainly not a liar. If you've read PSYCHE, you would know. Guaranteed. What I will say is I tell the truth and am a wonderful advocate for myself and telling the truth is crazy in a world full of lies. I was never the problem but the elderly women who steal and have children ghostwriters and then steal their lines and content and then say "it's happened to them too" so you can trust them, most certainly are. I don't know if you guys will ever see the other two books but if you do, consider yourself lucky. So to K'dinse and Bela, thank you for pushing me and giving me the courage to do this. If you are an indie author, just know it is never cool to steal from minors on Wattpad(Especially considering I am NOT the first victim and most certainly will not be the last). To everyone else, welcome to the world of Lani.
