I would like to acknowledge every single person who picked this book up. When I was first getting into fantasy, I hated how slow burned it was with world-building and it took me months to finish some of the most popular books. It wasn't my favorite and now I'm writing it. This is why you're holding the novel that is straight world-building and introducing you to some of the main characters. So, I want to heavily thank you guys so much for supporting a young author who puts her whole heart and soul into writing. It's my escapism and I want to thank these two special ladies.

To my little sister, I love you more than you will ever know and you will get the happy ending me and you both deserve by the end of this series. I love you so much baby, and I am so proud of the artist you are becoming. You will always and I mean always have me in your corner through thick and thin. It's me and you against the world, Tuk(a nickname given to her a year ago after watching Avatar and inspiring me to write this.)

I would also like to thank my cousin Maile. You did a phenomenal job with your part on this book whether it be headshots or just supporting me, you made me feel like this was achievable. You are wonderful and I can't wait to see what the future holds. K'dinse and Bela thank you for being here from day one. I wouldn't be here with this revised version without you.

After the previous editing scam I mostly would like to thank the readers who might just be starting their journey with me or returning. Thank you for giving me a shot.

Now readers keep in mind that this is just the beginning.
