I woke up to the sound of my alarm and birds chirping. Since it was fall the sky was gloomy and it was raining a bit. I loved fall. It was the meaning of my name of course. I got up and grabbed some jeans and a white knitted sweater aunt jes had gotten me a while ago and put on my doc martens.

I put my hair in a claw clip and grabbed my bag and headed down stairs

"Good morning sweetheart here's your pancake and there's some orange juice on the table" my mom says passing me my plate. "Thanks mom" I grabbed it and sat down across my dad who was on the phone "no, no, no your not listening my client is and will be going to court next month for his trial" my dad says in a serious tone

I looked and him making a shocked face making him smile at me and put his finger up to his mouth.

My dad's a lawyer so I understood if he couldn't make it to a school event but he always made sure to not miss anything thing of mine. He went upstairs continuing his conversation and mom laughed

"Hun the other kids are gonna come over for some breakfast I forgot to tell you" my mom says setting out more plates "okay that's cool" I say shrugging

We heard the door open and heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen "mhm holy it smells delicious in here!" Jayla says hugging my mom "haha thank you cookie" my mom says hugging her back

They got their plates and sat down and ate "jaden I'm making you a cheese turkey bagel because your mom said your staying after school today to catch up on some homework" she says making me look at him confused

Jaden had always been on top of his work especially since he played baseball

"Oh yeah thank you dia I really appreciate it" me says smiling and looking at me with a worried face

We had finished breakfast and we all headed towards Jayla's car and drove to school

Jayla had already graduated but she always drove us to school until jaden got his license since Javon failed

"Ugh I'm not excited for that English test today" Javon says groaning "I like English it's easy" I say looking back at him "okay mrs. Got into Ap English in 7th grade" he says making us all laugh

"Hey Jaden's in it too" I say laughing "probably not for much longer" I hear Javon laughing and then a what sounded like a shoulder shove "oww I was just kidding dude"

"Are you transferring out or something?" I say looking at Jaden a bit

He looked at me and looked back out the window "no I just have to catch up on some homework after school or else I'll get dropped down to regular English and kicked off the baseball team" he says in a low tone "oh..." I say looking down

We rode in silence and eventually got to school

"Jaydyyyy" Ava says going up to him wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him. I rolled my eyes and walked to my locker to see my two friends Leana and violet "hey guys" I say opening my locker

"Hey girl" violet says looking behind me with a disgusted face "Ava?" I say laughing a bit "yeah doesn't she know anything about pda? It's 8 in the morning" she says making me laugh more

"I know just ignore them" I say closing my locker "it's hard when Jaden's hand is almost to her ass" Lucy says in a worried tone

I looked over and they were having a FULL ON MAKEOUT and his hand was just above her ass

Something about his hands on her disgusted me so much and I didn't know why. Maybe it was because we're in public but it's always been like this every time they're together I get this feeling. Like I wanna pull him away from her and to just be with me and only me.

I didn't notice but I was staring at them to the point jaden looked over at me while Ava kissed his neck. He stared for while until I decided to head to class.

"God they're so disgusting" violet says rolling her eyes "it's Ava not him" I say "autumn you don't have to protect him. I get y'all were best friends but maybe it's time you except the fact he's changed" Lucy says in a soft tone

"You guys don't understand though Jaden's not a nasty person it's Ava who makes him do that stuff"

"Autumn people change when they go to high school obviously he was innocent when you guys were kids but now he's just a baseball f boy everyone knows it"

"Stop saying that Jaden's nothing like that" I say fading my voice a bit

We separated and I went to first period and I couldn't stop thinking about Jaden but I also wanted him to hurry up and come to class just so I can have him to myself.

JADENS POV

I was trying my best to get out of Ava's arms but she kept holding on to me and sucking on my neck. "Ava yk what my mom said when she saw them" I say moving my head a bit

"Then let's leave so we do something else" she says whispering into my ear

I wasn't into that stuff even thought the whole school thinks I'm some sort of fuck boy but I'm not. I've only ever made out and that's it. Ava had tried going farther but it was late and she was drunk and most importantly I wasn't going to lose my virginity to this girl and I was sure of that.

"Ava it's really early and I have to get to class" I say watching the last of students go into their classes leaving just the two of us "just 20 minutes please" she says looking up at me like a lost puppy

I stared down at her thinking about it. She wasn't going to give up until I said yes and I knew that.

"Jaden" I hear someone say from down the hall

It was autumn.
