Jadens POV

I had finished buying autumns necklace and asked them to put the our initials on it and soon left and grabbed us some food since we were hanging out

"Okay I'm gonna go because Seth's coming over have fun with your girlfriend"Javon says walking towards our house "yeah yeah yeah" I say smiling

I walked into her house and walked up the stairs and could hear her talking to someone. I decided to listen just incase it was a private conversation until I heard my sisters voice

"well yeah your really mature for your age but is there anything your looking forward to in the future?" I hear my sister say making me get closer to the door

"Um well you know I don't really wanna go to college but I know I wanna write books and you know...if me and jaden are idk together I'd like to get married and you know a family I guess" I hear her says making my heart beat 10x faster and a smile spread across my face

I calmed myself down and knock so they know I was here. I went inside her room and she soon hung up with Jayla and we sat down and ate while watching Spider-Man.

The entire time all I could think about what she said. Does she really wanna get married?? Does she actually wanna have a family with me?? It was a great thing her head was under my chin because I felt my face turning red by the thought of us having a future together

Of course I wanted a future with this girl. I've dreamt about this since we were kids. I always imagined us getting married and having kids and her taking them to my baseball games. The things she was barely thinking about were the things I've always wanted since we were kids.

We started talking about her birthday and she sounded a bit sad when she said "Well idk I haven't gotten a present from you In a while...i wasn't expecting it"

Which made me raise a brow since I have until I remembered I always told my mom to say it was from her...

"Autumn...I did get you presents...I just always told my mom to say they were from her instead because I didn't want to make you upset since we weren't really friends anymore..." I say looking down at her

She was softly touching my stomach until she stoped "you did?..." she says looking up at me now making us both make eye contact "yeah...for your 15th birthday I got you those doc martens since you had been wanting them since middle school and on your 16th birthday I got you that white knitted sweater and some orchids since there your favorite flower..."

I say watching her look down "oh I'm so sorry I didn't know that...thank you I loved them so much" she says giving me a small smile "I'm glad I can give you your present myself this year" I say rubbing her cheek

"I'm glad too"says leaning in. We always made sure it was okay we kissed each other since we weren't dating yet so I always nodded

We began kissing and after a while deciding to watch tv for a while and go to sleep since it was Saturday which meant we were allowed to have sleepovers.

Autumns POV

I woke up to the sound of my dog barking and notice Jaden wasn't in bed anymore which was weird since we always took our time to get out of bed when we had sleepovers.

It was 9:40 and I heard talking downstairs and put on my slippers and went down.

Jadens POV

I woke up to someone touching my shoulder and seen Josh holding a finger over his mouth. It was 7 in the morning and he pulled me out in the hall with Claudia and my parents.

I was embarrassed since I was shirtless and scared I was going to get in trouble until the mothers smiled as Josh closed autumns door

"Is everything okay?" I ask rubbing my eye "yeah everything's okay sweetie but we need your help. We're going to be out of state on autumns birthday for work so we decided to do a surprise party for her today" auntie dia says smiling

"Yeah okay what should I do??" I say nodding "okay well we wanna set up some decorations right now and have her favorite breakfast meals and then go out mini golfing and then dinner afterwards" Josh says

"Oh yeah that sounds fun she likes mini golf" "so do you think you could help us out up decorations wanna is still sleeping and is too stubborn to wake up and Jayla won't be here until a couple hours"

"Yeah of course let me just put on a shirt" I say smiling awkwardly "oh yeah good idea" Josh says giving the same awkward smile back

I went inside her room and seen her cuddled up into my side. I smiled to myself and pulled the covers over her shoulder and kissed her forehead before putting on my shirt.

Autumns POV

I heard faint whispers and looked for the light switch since all our blinds were closed. "SURPRISE!!" I hear everyone yell and jump out from behind the couch "woah what the" I say laughing and looking at all the decorations

"Happy early birthday sweetheart" my dad says hugging me and placing a kiss on my head "thanks dad" I say hugging him "happy early birthday baby" my mom says hugging me "thanks mom"I say laughing

Everyone had wished me a happy birthday except Jaden who looked busy on his phone

"Okay let's have breakfasttt" Jessica says pulling my moms arm into the kitchen "we have your favorites French toast, sausages, bacon, strawberries and kiwis, and circled waffles" my mom says smiling with Jessica

"Yummyyyyy thank you guys" I say grabbing a plate
We all sat down and jaden was still on his phone doing something. I wouldn't have minded but it was my birthday breakfast and he was sitting right next to me.

"Okay Jaylas just landed so she'll be here in one hour" dj says putting his phone down "so where are we having dinner tonight?" I ask my parents "it's a secret" my mom says nodding "you'll love it though don't worry" my dad says smiling

"I can't get over that your already going to be an adult next year time flys so fast" my mom says frowning "I know it felt like yesterday we had to hose her and Jaden down from getting mud all over each other" Jessica says laughing "I still remember the mud pie they put in the fridge" dj says laughing

We all laughed except Jaden who was still on his phone "jaden please put your phone down it's breakfast" Jess says looking at him "yeah sorry I'm just busy with something I'll be right back" he says quickly getting up and leaving

I continued eating my food while the adults talked about memories of us kids and I sat there wondering what Jaden was doing. Who was he texting?? Was it a girl? Was it Ava?...
