JADENS POV

I was trying to get to Ava but her stupid friends kept blocking me so I couldn't even try to get the ball "okay 3 of you guys don't need to block one person you know?" I say annoyed "we know" one of them says smirking

I was confused until I heard someone screaming. Autumn.

I shoved past them and seen autumn on the floor holding her ankle crying. "Autumn" I run towards her getting on my knees "what happened?!?" I say holding her

She cried into my chest hiding her face. I looked down at her ankle and it looked bad. It was red Turning into a dark red

I looked up at Ava who was standing right there with no expression "what did you do Ava" I say angry "nothing she fell and I accidentally stepped on her" she says making me wanna yell at her even more

"Guys cmon make some room" the coach says bringing in two of the security guards "autumn can you move your ankle??" The coach says rubbing her arm

Autumn tried but cried more

I hugged her tighter than ever remember ling the last time she cried in front of me. It was when she got diagnosed with anxiety. "it's okay I'm here autumn okay?" I say resting my head on here

I carried her to the nurses office and tried to stay with her but they made me leave since she was going to be transferred to the hospital cause how bad it was

I seen Josh and auntie dia run in and seen me waiting outside the room for her "jaden what happend?!" Josh said in a angry/concerned tone

"I- um-..." something about telling them that MY girlfriend was the one responsible felt like I was the one who did it

"Ava stepped on her ankle during basketball..." I say looking down

They stayed quiet and I knew they were disappointed in me.

I heard Josh walk in and felt auntie dia place a a hand on my cheek "thanks for waiting out here for her sweetie" she says giving me a warm smile

I nodded my my head and she went in and I mentally cursed at myself

They took autumn to the hospital and I went to find Ava. I was pissed she hurt autumn after I told her countless times to leave her alone.

It was lunch time so she was probably behind the school with her smoke buddies

"Ava" I say walking up to her to see her taking a hit of a cigarette "yeah baby?" She says smiling

"We need to talk now" I say grabbing her arm not enough to hurt her but just enough to pull her away from everyone

"Woah jaden slow down you made me drop my cigarette" she says laughing "why did you hurt her" I say getting angry "I told you it was an accident" she responds with the same tone "bullshit her ankle can only be that bad if you fucking knew what you were doing" she looked scared but I didn't care

"I told you I didn't mean to she fell and I tripped-" she says stuttering "so what first you "accidentally" stepped on it and now you tripped on it get your shit straight!" I say raising my voice even more

"I'm sorry jay... you're scaring me" she says with tears In her eyes "stay away from her I mean it." I say trying to calm down "is she going to be okay?" Ava says In a low tone "I don't know they took her to the hospital though so that can't be good"

I say sighing and shaking my head "I'm sorry jay really" she says grabbing my shoulders and kissing me

I wasn't in the mood but I need to distract myself before I make a mistake

I pulled Ava closer and kissed her "wanna go to my house nobody's home" she says biting her lip

I was supposed to stay after school but like I said before she wasn't going to give up

"Yeah" I say in a low tone "okay let's go" she says kissing me and grabbing my hand
