Autumns POV

I sat on my bed writing and listening to the sound of the rain hit my window and the wind blowing the leafs. Jaden should be in his way already and I was happy but nervous since we haven't hung out in years even though it's more like a study session and not a hangout. But still I was still so nervous

I heard the door open downstairs and someone coming up the stairs. "Hey autumn" he says closing the door and setting down the bag of treats "hey jay you ready?" I say grabbing the bag and opening the Dr pepper

"Hold on I just wanna rest for a sec" He says laying right beside me "everything okay?" I say moving the strands of his hair sticking to his forehead from the rain

"School was fine it's just Ava" he says letting out a long sigh "oh I'm sorry is there anything I can do?" I say pulling my hand away "yeah..." he says holding my hand for a sec "keep massaging my head please" I smiled to myself and ran my hand threw my hair

he was laying on my waist and we stayed in complete silence for a couple of minutes. Which I didn't mind I missed him so much these last three years.

"Autumn..." jaden says I'm a soft voice "yes jaden?" I say in the same tone "I'm going to break up with Ava" he says making me freeze

He noticed and looked up at me and sitting up
"You okay?" He say holding my arm "y-yeah I'm just wondering...why are you breaking up with her?"

"It's just-...I just don't feel complete with her" he says looking down "I'm so sorry jay" I say opening my arms to hug him and he fell into them immediately

I felt his warm breath on my neck and his lips t touching my collarbone.

I love this feeling. I love Jaden.

Jaden POV

I was on almost on top of her with my head buried in her neck and my lips pressed against her collarbone. If I thought my hunger for her was bad last night it was worst right now.

I can't try anything with her. I'm still with Ava. Just a few more days.

We stayed like that for what felt like forever until autumn sat up "okay jay we should get started" she says rubbing my shoulder "yeah you right I say siting up and grabbing my backpack

We did homework for 3 hours and autumn helped me so much to the point I had nothing left over
"Finally we're doneee" autumn says stretching "thanks to you thanks autumn seriously" I say looking at her "no problem jay just make sure to not get behind again okay? And if you do just ask me for help" she says smiling

"I promise I won't and if I do then I promise I'll ask you" I say smiling back at her

Our faces were inches apart and I couldn't help but lean in. I could feel her soft breath and when I was about to kiss her until she turned her head and sighed

"I'm sorry jay......your with Ava...." she says looking down "yeah I know I'm sorry it was a mistake..." I say looking down

We stayed in silence until I decided it was best if I just go "I'll see you around thanks again autumn" I say grabbing my things and leaving.

Autumns POV

I wanted to kiss Jaden trust me I did but I couldn't let him cheat on Ava with me...plus I'm now realizing I'm in love with jaden.

SKIP TO FRIDAY

I finally got my boot off and my foot was doing a lot better but I couldn't run or do anything crazy yet but I was able to walk. Which was amazing since today was the Halloween dance and tomorrow was Jaylas party.

I haven't spoken or seen jaden since we almost kissed and I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to see me.

It was currently 7 and the dance started at 8 and I was waiting for Jayla to come over with Javon so they could help me get ready. I had two Halloween costumes. One for the school dance and one for the party.

I was going to be Bell from beauty and the beast and a fairy for the party

What I wore

"Girl you look so hot right now!!!" Jayla says squealing. She was going as Snow White so we were twinning but tomorrow she was going to be the joker which I thought was really cool

"Javon come look how good autumn looks!!" Jayla screams for him downstairs "coming!!!" He says running up "holy" he say widening his eyes "what do you think??" I say spinning

"I think Jaden's going to drool when he sees you" he says making us laugh "shut up don't say that" I say smacking his shoulder "where even is he dude it's almost time to go "he said Ava was running late and asked if we could wait"

"Wait she's going with us?" I ask confused "yeah she's coming over to our house and coming with us since she is Jaden's date" Jayla says rolling her eyes

"Is she coming to the party tomorrow?" I ask checking my phone "I think so since it's an open invite" Jayla says shrugging

"Okay Jaden just texted cmon"

We all got our stuff and walked down stairs and went inside the car waiting for Ava and jaden to come out

"Are they doing a couple costume" I ask Javon "I think so he was going to be a prisoner and she was gonna be a cop" he says shrugging

"Basic" I say looking at my phone "I love this jealous autumn you should do it more often" Jayla says holding my shoulder "for real what happend that night you tutored him, because both of you won't talk about it and you've been so annoyed anytime someone brings up him and Ava more than usual " Javon says coming in between mine and Jaylas seat

"I just don't like her that's it." I say looking out the window "cmon autumn you know you can talk to us right?" Javon says poking my face

I haven't told anyone that I'm in love with jaden cause how pathetic is that?? He had a girlfriend and we almost kissed and haven't seen each other since and then said it was mistake.

I hated how I was jealous of ava and pissed
Because of her I lost my best friend who I've been In Love with for god knows how long and I couldn't even fight for him because he shut me out completely. I was angry with jaden too. Why did he leave me??

I kissed him in 1st grade hoping he would finally know I loved him but he never did. I never talked to any boys because he was the only one I wanted but he still left me for a girl he barely met.
