We had just finished up shopping and got the beer which surprisingly worked and headed back home
"So Jaden are you and Ava gonna do another couple costume tonight?" Kylee says looking back at us
"Oh yeah um about that...me and Ava broke up yesterday" he says shrugging "oh wait what?!?" Jayla says surprised "oh damn man what happened??" Javon says looking at him
"Oh nothing important I just told her I couldn't be with her anymore"

"That's probably why she she kept glaring at us last night" kylee says tapping jaylas shoulder "probably I mean I'd be mad too if I got dumped at a dance"
"Well you guys never liked her so, so what?" Jaden says with an annoyed tone "well yeah but I'm just saying you know. But I'm glad you seem happy" Jayla says pulling into the drive way
"Alrighty it's 4 so that means we have 4 hours to decorate and get ready so let's hurry" Jayla says opening the trunk
We all got the decorations and started putting them up and setting out snacks and drinks.
At 8 we all started getting ready and it was me Jayla and kylee getting ready in Jaylas room and we were all talking and making jokes

"So autumn I heard Jaden slept over last night" kylee says smirking "yeah I just didn't wanna be alone that's it" I say shrugging "oh really so what did y'all do?"she says now making her and Jayla smile at me
"We just you know went to my room and laid down..." I say contemplating wether or not I should tell them about my feelings for jaden
"Wait so y'all slept in the same bed or what??" Jayla says raising an eyebrow with a grin "well yeah I didn't want him to sleep on the floor"
"So like...did y'all have sex-" Kylee says before Jayla slaps her arm "what?! Jaden broke up with Ava and then slept over at autumns don't you think that tells you something??" Kylee says looking back and forth at us
"Okay but don't say it so loud that's still my little brother" Jayla says groaning "don't worry my parents were literally in the other room so nothing happened" I says laughing a bit
"So you're saying if they Weren't you'd-" kylee try's saying again until Jayla slaps her "owww that one hurt" kylee says rubbing her arm "so nothing happened??" Jayla says in a low tone "do you atleast like him or something or are y'all back to being best friends"
Jayla says making me think. Jaden hasn't really told me what he wants but I knew what I wanted.

Jadens POV
it was 8 o'clock and I was getting ready for the party with Javon in his room and I was going as a boxer and had kylee put makeup on my face to make a black eye
"So do you think you're going to try and get with autumn?" Javon says adjusting his suit since he was being batman "I want too I'm just...idk" I say sitting on the chair "bro why not you guys are finally friends again and understand your feeling so why not?" Javon says making me rub my eyes
"I just... I'm scared I'm going to mess it all up again...I can't lose her this time" I say looking up at the ceiling
"you won't. You love her right?" He says making me nod "then you won't hurt her. Jaden You've kept me up for hours going on about how perfect she is for most of our life, so believe me when I say your not going to hurt her or leave her" he says holding my shoulder
"Thanks dude" I say hugging him "don't worry now don't chicken out tonight okay??" "Yeah yeah I won't" I say laughing
We walked out and knocked on Jaylas door and heard whispering and footsteps
"Hey guys you done?" Kylee says opening the door "yeah how about you guys?" Javon says looking in "yup we were just finishing up" kylee says opening the door big enough to let us in
Autumn turned around and had a nervous look and looked down at her hands
"Holy shit your costume looks so good wanna" Jayla says holding his cape "and nice job kylee on Jaden's black eye" "thanks it's so easy"
"Okay people should be showing up in a bit so let's go make sure everything's fine" Jayla says as they all walk out of the room
Autumn was trying to put on some heels and it looked like she was struggling a bit
Autumns POV
Everyone started heading down stairs while I was trying to put on heels but since I've only worn heels once before it was difficult
"Here let me" jaden says kneeling in front of me and putting them on "thanks" I say giving him the other heel "no problem are you sure you wanna wear these all night?" He says looking up at me
"I honestly don't know I'm scared Im gonna eat shit in front of everyone" I say laughing "don't worry I'll be there to catch you if you do" he says standing up and holding out his hand
I grabbed his hand and stood up and we stayed like that
"God your so beautiful" he says holding my waist "you think so" I say teasing a bit "always ma" he says before kissing me
I put my arms around his neck and felt his going down.
The doorbell rang and we pulled away "we should probably go downstairs" I say fixing my dress "yeah cmon" he says wrapping his arm around my waist and began walking downstairs
There were about 20-25 people already there and there was music playing and laughing filling the room
"So you want a soda or a water?"Jaden says walking towards the kitchen "yeah I'll have a cherry pepsi"I say looking around to see if I knew anyone "here ma" he says handing me one and opening his

I laughed a bit and looked over to Jaden who seemed upset by that comment "so you wanna go dance?!" Lucy says smiling "yeah sure just give me a sec"I say nodding
They went to go dance and I looked back to Jaden who still had an upset look "sorry about violet she's kinda drunk and doesn't know what she's saying" I say looking up at him
"It's fine" He wasn't looking at me and focused on the party
I got on my tippy toes and kissed his cheek and turned my head "I'm just gonna go dance you can join me if you'd like" I say finally getting him to look at me
He smiled at me and I began walking towards everyone who was dancing. At this point there were at least 40 people already and I seemed like everyone was enjoying it
