"Call Dr. Lim Eli. I need him here, now!" Yibo ordered the young helper lounging in the living room when he got to the villa.
"Yes, Sir."
As Quiren and Carmen descended the stairs, they exchanged glances when they they saw Yibo carrying a boy.
"Who's that boy, Yibo?" Carmen asked, stopping mid-step to look at her son.
"I don't know, Mom." Yibo glanced up at his mom as she came down. "I found him in the mausoleum, right at Grandfather's grave, soaking wet. And he's running a high temperature."
"Bring him to the guest room, son," Carmen said firmly. Then she turned to a helper. "Ling, please fetch a cotton robe from the closet."
Yibo brought Zhan into the guest room and gently placed him on the bed, with his parents trailing behind.
"You and Dad step outside for a moment, I need to get his wet clothes off," (A/N: let's just go with flow of the story, the couple in the original novel is a boy and a girl) she ordered the two. When she turned her gaze back to the unconscious Zhan. "What could have happened to him?"
"He used the hotel's horse. He must be one of the guests," Yibo answered, focusing his eyes on Zhan's face for a moment before turning towards the door. "I'll call the hotel."
"He reminded me of someone, darling," said Quiren staring at the boy's face. "Anyway, I'm heading out now. Do you want your coffee brought here?" he asked his wife.
"Yes, please." Replied Carmen.

"What did hotel reception say?" Quiren asked his son when Yibo hung up the phone.
"He arrived yesterday afternoon, Dad. His name is Xiao Sean Zhan, and he's with a guy named Wang Zhoucheng."
"Zhan and Zhoucheng!"
They both looked over at Ziyi, who was already standing at the bottom of the stairs.
"Do you know them?" the father and son asked in unison, exchanging glances.
"Z-Zhan is my... my cousin. And... and Zhoucheng—" Ziyi trailed off, did not continue the appropriate introduction to his boyfriend. "A-are they at the hotel?"
Yibo's brows furrowed. "So, Mr. Nam was right. When you arrived you, you were with another person, and he's your cousin?"
"Y-yes-" Ziyi lowered her gaze, stammering. Even though it had been a few days since she first met Yibo, she still felt uneasy around him. The man was too sure of himself... almost to the point of arrogance and too much for her to handle. "I-I want to see him," she added, raising her head. She tried to keep her voice steady, hiding her excitement. "If... if someone could take me to the hotel—"
"Your cousin's in the guest room, Ziyi," Yibo mentioned, keeping his gaze on the girl.
"Zhan's here? In this house?" Ziyi replied, surprised.
"You can't talk to him yet because he is unconscious and burning with fever. Now, if you are kind enough to tell us about your cousin and this-Zhoucheng, then I am very willing to listen," Yibo said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
"Son." Quiren said. "How about we discuss this in the dining area. Let Ziyi get some breakfast. Come on, Ziyi.."
Ziyi breathed a sigh of relief and followed the elder Lan.

"How is he, doctor?" Yibo asked after the doctor finished examining Zhan.
"I gave him an injection to bring down the fever, Yibo," the doctor replied.
"And he might sleep through the day. After four hours, make sure he takes this pill and every four hours thereafter." He pointed out the pills on the night table that came with the prescription. "And if his fever doesn't drop by this afternoon, he must be admitted. I'm worried it might be pneumonia." He glanced at the family gathered in the room, Ziyi went and sat on the edge of the bed. "I'll go ahead now."
"Thank you, Doc." Quiren patted the doctor on the shoulder and escorted him outside. Ziyi looked up at Carmen. "I-I'll look after him, Mrs. Lan."
"No. I don't think-" Yibo was interrupted when his mother grabbed his arm.
"Of course, Ziyi. Your cousin will be surprised when he regains consciousness and he realizes that he is in a strange room. It is good that you are by his side when he regains consciousness, isn't it, son?" Carmen gave her son a warning look.
Yibo didn't say anything and left the room.
