Jordan huffs yawning as he puts back the water bottle into the refrigerator and sighs turning back to the couple as they are settled for breakfast in total silence, something that they don't usually do.
Jordan joins them nonetheless and then dishes up for himself.

Thomas: Hey Junior how are you settling so far in your new school? Is everything falling back on track on your side or do you need some help with settling in?
Jordan: No no no Pops everything is fine, everything is falling into place so far and there is nothing to complain about yet on my side...but I don't know about yours, is everything okay with you?
He nods before sipping on his coffee mug and steals a glance at Rose.
Thomas: Yeah everything is okay on my side I can't complain as well.
Rose: Yeah right, what is there to complain about anyway?

*Silence*

Jordan clears his throat shifting uncomfortably from the tension.
He gets up leaving his food and walks up to the kitchen counter to take his backpack and prepares to leave for school.

Rose: Junior are you already leaving? But you haven't touched your food dear.
Jordan: I'm sorry but I can't eat from all of this tension, you are making my food taste bad.
I will eat something at school.

It goes silent and then Thomas sighs as he takes out his wallet for Jordan's lunch money.

Thomas: I'm sorry for all of this.
Jordan: Just fix your shit please. Talk to each other or something, don't you dare divorce each other and get me involved in your nasty battles please.
Thomas: Just go to school and leave this to us, you are late as it is.
Jordan: Yeah right.
Jordan takes the lunch money from him and then makes his way around the table.

Jordan (Pecks Rose): Let me love and leave you two, see you guys later then..
Rose: Have it great at school.
Jordan nods as he takes an apple from the table and then makes his way out to leave for school.

Jordan: Let's just see how this day goes... Jesus I didn't even have a proper sleep, all thanks to Lowell for the wild night. But damn I enjoyed the thrill, seemingly Lowell is not so different from me it's just that his deliquency is perfection there is no dodging bullets for him and delivering drugs to hoodlums... Or at least that's what I think for now, oh well I will find out as time goes by right?...I mean he can't be that bad yeah?

He sighs preparing himself to leave for school.

Jordan: Urgh whatever, he is a good guy either way.

Jordan parks his bike right at the spot that he parked at the previous day and he takes off his helmet turning to face the convertible car beside him and Lowell smirks putting down his phone turning to focus to him too.
Lowell: You are quite late today and that's so unlike you Hans.
Jordan: Were you waiting for me my friend?
Lowell: Ow please no of course not.
Jordan chuckles shaking his head.
Jordan: Oh well it seems like it to me.
He climbs down from his bike and puts his helmet on the tail box whilst Lowell closes his car's sunroof.
Jordan: Is this your car too?
Lowell: Yeah, I couldn't drive the other one because the police might be still searching for it, so I have to wait for few days until my brother makes changes to it.
Jordan: Damn how rich are you?
Lowell: Just a little, come on let's go to class. Good morning by the way.
Jordan: Yeah good morning to you too.

Lowell locks his car and then they walk side to side through the school hallways and straight to class.
The stares haven't subsided of course and besides it is only the second day of school.
But they walk past them and they make their way straight to their class and they settle down at their desk.
Lowell: Are you good?
Jordan: Yeah I am...or at least I think I am.
Lowell: What do you mean?
Jordan: I feel so fucking exhausted and it's all thanks to you.
Lowell laughs at that and their classmates turn to him in disbelief. It's the first time that they see and hear him laugh.

Jordan: And besides you lost to me on the card game last night or should I say this morning... so I don't see why I wouldn't be good.
Lowell: Don't push your luck and boast just yet Hans because you won't always be that lucky and win against me okay?
Jordan: You are starting to sound like a sore loser Adams and that doesn't suit you at all man.
Lowell chuckles shaking his head and so does Jordan leaning forward to face the chalkboard.
And it goes silent for a moment between them.

Lowell: I have to say though, you are not your usual self today you also look sour for someone that won all the betting yesterday. So what's up?, Did someone dump your ass huh?
Jordan sighs shaking my head and then shrugs turning to face him.
Jordan: I'm starving that's all, and all that family tension back home made me lose my appetite but now I can feel that it's crawling back to me.
Lowell: Ow...
Lowell: Don't you to talk about it though?, After all I'm a very good listener. And maybe we can go buy some sandwiches after that.
Me: Well I-...

Lowell's phone rings disturbing them and he huffs grabbing it from his blazer.
Lowell: Sorry I have to take this.
Jordan nods leaning back to his chair and Lowell looks over his phone hesitating to answer it.
He first turns to Jordan and then clears his throat picking it up.

Lowell: I'm at school Mackenzie, what do you want?

*.......*

Lowell: Oh well couldn't you wait until I get home so that we can talk about that huh?

*.......*

He turns to Jordan and then clears his throat lowering his voice to snuggle away from his attention, making it hard for Jordan to hear his conversation on the phone anymore.

Jordan turns to look away taking out his books to prepare for the first class period.
But he can't stop himself from watching Lowell closely as he is busy on his phone and with that small tattoo peeking out from his neck. Jordan never saw that one before. And there could be more.

*There's just something about this guy that's bringing out the curiosity in me and it sucks how he's so confidential about himself. What does his family do for a living, where does he live and most of all why does he wear one glove, what's on his hand?
Oh which reminds me of someone that also had one glove when I first saw him...that Jerome guy who is Petey's rival...could Lowell be his-...
Arg no of course not I am just overthinking things it's very common for people to wear one glove on their hands either for fashion or just for hiding something...But I wonder*

*Silence*

Lowell (Over the phone): Look tell my brother that we will talk when I get home and please stop disturbing me during class.

*.......*

Lowell: Yeah whatever, I'm hanging up.

Lowell huffs hanging up and then sighs turning to Jordan faking a smile.
Lowell: Where were we?
Jordan: Going to buy some sandwiches?
Lowell: Oh yes that's right let's go then.

Jordan nods continuing to watch him closely.
Why is he suddenly feeling on edge about Lowell, why?
Why is his head playing tricks with him like this because there's no way that Lowell could be Jerome's brother or perhaps his delivery boy because if he is then that means Jordan hasn't gone past that life just yet.
Is that why Lowell is being friendly with him? Because he has found someone that does the same job as his?... But how would he know?
Oh well not unless Jerome tells him everything and the people that he deals with.
Now this explains everything, his life and his attitude.

But what if Jordan is being wrong about all of this, what if Lowell is not whom he thinks he is huh?
