THE BOY IS MINE

Part 7: JUSTICE.

Jordan catches his breath feeling tired and also numb with rage and disgust as he looks at corpses that are in pieces because of him.

He snaps out of his emotions and starts throwing up on the floor.
Petey takes the axe from his hand and nudges him.
Petey: You did well, you served your mother justice, for Isaac as well and even for yourself today. Don't live to regret it.
Jordan: Like hell I would regret getting rid of these morons.
He wipes his mouth standing up straight and turns to Petey.
Petey: Are you good sonny?
Jordan: I have never been better... And hey my mother used to call me that too.
Petey: Trust me I know.
He holds Jordan's shoulder as they walk out but Petey first turns to the other boys and nods at them to start cleaning up and getting rid of the remains.
Dylan walks closer to them and nudges Jordan.
Dylan: It took me a while to understand why the boss favors you so much other than his other reasons, but now I do... You have guts young lad.
"He has guts indeed."

Footsteps echo from the hallway and a smoke of a strong scented cigar strikes first before the man even shows himself from the dark.
He side smiles at them and Jordan could read right from this man's appearance that he is a powerful man, so strong just like Petey or even beyond him.
Oh and he smells of money too that is no doubt at all.

Petey: Jerome Adams...you really know how to make an entrance and your presence felt don't you?
Tension suddenly rises up between the men. And Jordan sighs making his presence felt and hoping to leave their presence as soon as he possibly can to avoid all of this tension.
Petey: Jerome and Mackenzie, what brings you here?
Jerome: We need to talk out the figures Petey and I can't wait any longer. Take your son home since you are done bonding with him and we will meet at the usual hotel to talk business.
Jordan: He is not my Dad... That I can emphasize to you.
Jerome chuckles at that and then raises his brow at Petey.
Jerome: Is that so?
Petey: Just say what you want to say Jerome and make a leave again.
Jerome: I have said what I wanted to say to you, meet me at the hotel within an hour and don't make us wait. We have other things to do and just like you I have a younger brother to bond with back home and I can't have my flight delayed. Now I will say this again, take your son home and attend to us later.
Jordan: Just like I said I-
Petey: Silence Jordan....
Jordan sighs getting quiet and Petey glares at Jerome that Mackenzie who smirk back at him.
Mackenzie: Boss let's get going, leave the family to deal with their issues alone.
Jerome: You have said it, let's go.

They chuckle walking away and Jordan shakes his head walking away as well.
Jordan: They are so annoying.
Dylan: You have said it, they are really annoying.
Dylan looks at Petey.
Dylan: We will have to attend those morons as soon as we can. But first let's take the kid home.
Petey: Yes of course.
