Part 53: FAMILY LIES.

Petey: Hey Annette and Luna please join me dears, I have something important to tell you.
Annette: Ever since you came back from your trip you have been nothing but a depressed soul, are you dying?
Petey: No no no of course not, it's something else.
Annette nods walking around the couch to get seated and Luna just walks to climb on top of her Dad and snuggles on his chest.
Petey pecks her head and brushes her hair back just the way that she likes it, then he looks up at Annette that is seated across him looking so worn out and probably has not slept for a while now. She looks so crappy and messy, like an old lady so down and out of life who has no will to continue living whereas she is just a teenager, could she be on drugs?

Petey: I do realize that I haven't been the best parent to you ever since your mother left us for the world. But of course that is no valid reason for me to abandon my kids the way that I did and for that I am really sorry.
Petey: I would like for you kids to give me another chance, to let me make up for the lost times and bring all my kids together and be a complete family.
Annette: All your kids together? How many kids do you actually have besides us?
Petey: One... And it is Jordan.
Annette pops out her eyes and Luna jumps down from him smiling widely.
Luna: Jordan is really my big brother? Yay I knew it!!
Annette: Wait Dad... Are you telling me that all this time, I mean the whole time that moron was here you knew that he is your son but you never said anything?...did he even know?
Petey: I couldn't say anything, I couldn't even tell him because for once in my life I felt really closer to him as my son. I wanted to continue spending time with him and get to know him I-..
Annette: Now this explains everything, you were treating him like a golden egg, you prioritized him over us and you treating him in a way that we never got to experience from you.
Oh well this is a nightmare coming true for me of course, but not because I hate Jordan for your doings but because you choose sides when he is around turning a blind eye to us call me a whining teenager all you want Dad but just try to remember when was the last time that you held me in your arms as your daughter.

She gets up preparing to leave.

Petey: Annette sweetheart le-
Annette: I'm sorry dad but I've had enough for the day, I need to take a nap.
Luna: Anny...

Annette walks away heading upstairs and Petey sighs holding his forehead to listen to his pounding headache.
Luna climbs on top of him again holds his face smiling like a little angel that she is.
Luna: Don't worry Daddy she will forgive you soon I am happy that Jordan is my brother though, so when is he coming back home?
Petey: Ah well he is also mad at me just like Anny, he still needs some time alone even though it will take a while, but don't worry I will also try to talk them out of their anger and we will all be a family okay?
Luna: Why are older people always angry even when they don't have to be angry?
Petey chuckles pouting at her and she pecks him giggling.
Petey: You are so innocent my little angel I wish that you wouldn't grow up.
Luna: I won't grow up Dad, I want to stay happy!
He chuckles again then helps her down as he stands up.
Petey: Let me make you happy then my princess, let's have some ice cream.
Luna: And cookies.
Petey: Yes and cookies.
Luna: Soda drink?
Petey: No don't push it young lady.
She giggles holding his hand and they walk to the kitchen together.
Luna: I love you daddy.
Petey: I love you too my sweetheart.
