Lilan's Soul Key Search

Just a few things to say before we start! That picture I doodled above has nothing to do with the book. It's just a random pic. Most will be like that. And also, this whole chapter is all about Lilan! It's not a POV though, but you'll see! CHECK OUT Lilan1219 TOO!
"Hey, did we check out the letter on the April soul key yet?" March asked.
"No, so let's do it." Lilan said.
Inferno took the key and tore the letter off. He read it to himself.
"Ugh, guys, there's a major problem." Inferno cringed.
"But sis zit?" Cat mumbled because she was eating. (She means what is it).
"Ok, so the place that the May soul key is pretty much inaccessible for us all." Inferno sighed.
"Where is it?" Emery asked.
"It's in Coralie." Inferno groaned.
"Yeah, so?" March shrugged.
"IT'S THE UNDERWATER KINGDOM THAT I COME FROM!!!" Lilan squealed.
March and Inferno took a spit take on air.
"I TOTALLY FORGOT YOU WERE A MERMAID!" March choked.
"Ok, it's actually pretty close to here so if you just follow me, we'll be at the beach above it!" Lilan nodded at her own advice.
Everyone followed Lilan for about half an hour until they arrived at a beach.
"We're here!" Lilan laughed.
''Well, you turn into a mermaid and we'll chill on this beach." Cat sat back and whipped up a tuna sandwich out of mid air.
Lilan began to glow a light lavender. When she stopped glowing, she had a lovely, pale pink tail and a seashell wraparound head band.
"I'll be back!" Lilan giggled right before she jumped into the ocean.

Lilan swam downwards for a bit until she finally arrived at Coralie. She paddled down to the baby blue palace in the heart of her city. Lilan went to the royal throne room where King Poseidon (not the Greek god, just the same name) sat.
"Hey daaaaddy." Lilan chirped and flicked a bubble in his face.
"Lanny! How're you these days? Doing well in your studies?" Poseidon wrapped his arm around her.
"Yes for both questions. I have to ask you a little queshy though." She wiggled her tail. (She hasn't been in mermaid mode for a loooong time).
"Ask away." He replied.
"So, have you seen a key with the month May carved into it?" Lilan asked.
"Well that's extremely specific... no, I don't believe I have. But if you need to look, I suggest that you start in the city, Lanny." Poseidon answered.
"Well, 'kay thanks bye!" She grinned and swam out of the palace.
"Hmm... Then where is it?" Lilan mumbled to herself.
She squirmed around the city. Lilan was trapped in a big crowd.
"MOVE IT!!" A random grumpy merman screamed, and shoved her.
"Oof!" Lilan choked.
She fell into a shady alleyway. Lilan started flipping her tail down the alleyway.
"Hello?" She called throughout the dark.
Faint lights began to glow the further she swam. Lilan could of. Finally make out the shapes.
She was in a black market.
"Looky here girl!" Some creepy old mermaid cackled. "I have this one unbreakable diamond!" The 'diamond' fell on the ground and cracked. "I have these two unbreakable diamonds!"
Lilan plastered a fake smile on her face and began to swim faster.
Maybe they're selling the May soul key here. I would expect it to be at, I dunno, a video game cosplay convention. That seems more like May. Lilan thought as she looked around.
"Hey, you're pretty!" Some random sales guy flirted. "How 'bout I give you this lovely key!"
He held up an obsidian key with rubies with the month May carved into it.
"I'll take it!" Lilan grinned. "What's the price?"
"Well, it goes for 10,000 (1,000 in US dollars) stitches, but for a cutie like you, I'd accept a kiiiiiss?" He leaned in toward Lilan.
"Here ya go." Lilan said. She reached into her coral made bag and handed him 10,000 stitches. (She is a princess, she's rich, and if you remember in February, goes to an exclusive school that you'd have to be a millionaire to go to. 10,000 stitches is pocket money >3<).
"W-What!?" The man gasped. "C'mon, can't you pay with that AND a smooch!?"
"No thanks." Lilan shrugged.
"Then I'm not giving you the key." He huffed.
"HEY, HOW'S THAT FAIR!? I GAVE YOU DA MONEY, YOU GIVE ME DA KEY!!" Lilan yelled.
She tried to pry the key from his hands.
"ALERT! ALERT! SHE'S TRYING TO STEAL A KEY WORTH MANY STITCHES!" He announced.
All of the black market salespeople whipped out some guns...
And they were all aimed at her.
Now time for what these idiots are doing!
...
"HEY! HEY, GUYS!" Cat screamed.
"What, whaaaaat." Emery and Inferno groaned.
"HOW ABOUT WE DO SOME FISHING!?" Cat asked.
"Lilan'll kill us all." Inferno replied. March was sleeping on his chest because he's like a living heater.
"Don't worry, she's not here! Plus I'm craving some trout." Cat motioned them with her hands.
"Fiiiiiiiine." Emery sighed.
"One sec, gotta wake up Marchie." Inferno bit the tip of one of her drill shaped ponytails.
"KYAAAAAAA!!" March karate chopped at his face. Inferno caught her hand in his mouth.
"OW, OW, OOOOOWWWW!!! Your fangs are sharp!" March squirmed and tugged, trying to loosen her hand. Inferno reluctantly let go.
Cat and Inferno got on all fours next to each other.
"Are you ready?" Inferno asked.
"As I'll ever be." Cat nodded.
They dashed into the the water. They gracefully back flipped into the air in unison, and dived deep into the ocean.in less than a minute, Cat came back lobster in her mouth and a small salmon on each of her claws. Inferno ca,e out with a crab in his mouth and a large grouper impaled on his tail.
"When did you make your tail appear?" Emery asked lazily.
"In the water, where else?" Inferno said after he dropped the crab out of his mouth.
"GYAAAAA!! THE LOBSTER IS NOT DEAD YET! I REPEAT, THE LOBSTER IS NOT DEAD!!!" Cat screamed.
Lilan sprung out of the water. Her tail turned into legs. Bullets made out of pearl shot at her.
"I BET YOU DON'T HAVE A MAGIC CHARM TO MAKE YOU HUMAN, DO YA!!" Lilan screeched at the black market merpeople. A pearl bullet shot at her. She fortunately dodged.
"I got... the May soul key." She breathed. She looked around to see her friends eating grilled (by Inferno fire) fish and crab and lobster.
"CAAAAAAAAAAT!?" Lilan screamed.
The second Cat heard her name, she was already a mile away.
"COME BACK HERE!!!" Lilan screamed.
"EVERYONE, DO NOT LET HER SEE THE FEAR IN YOUR EYES! IF SHE DOES, SHE WILL ATTACK!!" Emery cried.
