Keira and Lucy were sat cuddled on the sofa with Narla beside them. Lucy was gently massaging Keira's stomach and the pair of them were sat in silence.
"It's so quiet," Keira said.
"I know. It's weird."
"I don't like it."
"Me neither."
They fell back into silence.
"It's weird how when she comes, we get so used to the chaos."
"We have to," Lucy laughed, "She's chaotic 24/7 so what can you do apart from get used to it?"
"True."
"I really miss her," Lucy said after a few moments.
"Me too."

It was the day after Maisie had landed back in England. She was still feeling pretty gloomy but her mood had lifted a little as she was going to see Erin.
They'd called regularly whilst she was away but that was nothing like seeing each other in person and she missed her.
They decided to just hang out at Erin's as the January weather was very poor.
"Hey you," Erin said as she opened the door. She then chuckled as her girlfriend almost barrelled her over in a big bear hug.
"Oh my God I've missed you," Maisie said.
"I've missed you too."
After a super long hug, they broke a part and headed upstairs to catch up.
They spoke about anything and everything. They both had so much to say and so much to share and neither of them noticed how much time had flown by.
"How have you already been here 2 hours?" Erin asked.
"I don't know. It feels like 5 minutes."
As always Maisie had spent the entire time moving and fidgeting but now she'd moved to sit close to Erin. With her girlfriend finally still, Erin used this as an opportunity to snuggle into her arms, her head resting on her chest.
"I love you," Maisie said as she looked down at her.
"I love you too."
Erin then moved her head up, kissing Maisie right on the mouth. Maisie kissed back and the pair of them were totally connected as everything else melted away.
Neither of them wanted to stop and Erin moved down, kissing her neck instead. Maisie bit her lip as her hands slid down to Erin's waistband.
About a minute had passed when Erin removed her mouth from Maisie's neck.
"Oh my God I think I might have got a bit carried away," she said when she saw what she'd done.
Maisie looked into the mirror and chuckled when she saw the rather large hickey that she now had.
"Wow," she said simply.
"Sorry," her girlfriend apologised.
"Why? I'll just have to give you one back."

When Maisie got home, she was absolutely glowing.
"Did you have a nice time?" Tracy asked. She was just preparing dinner and she had her back to her daughter.
"Yeah. It was good," Maisie said as she grabbed herself a drink.
"I'm glad," Tracy said, turning around.
