I remember when Romeo was just 6 years old. Even as a kid he had so much fire in him. It's poetic really

He was a bratty kid and still is kind of a punk at times but more than anything he loved his family and wanted to be with them. At the time he was just a kid who was bullied by others for liking wizards instead of knights. This enraged him understandably so, he's always been one to act on his emotions. so when he saw Natsu leave for a mission he was eager to join.
"You going on a mission too right big brother!?" He said excitingly.
"Thats right kiddo" Natsu said flashing him a smile.
"Can I come too! I've been practicing some magic!" He said barely sparking a flame in his hand.
"Sorry kiddo but your not a wizard yet, maybe when your older" Natsu said patting Romeo's head before walking away.
Of course Romeo didn't listen and snuck along anyways.
"Where is he?" Romeo asked looking around, he was still 6 at the time and basically lost the only adult that could look after him... if you consider Natsu an adult that is.
"Its him!" A lady said throwing something at the boy, Romeo ducked just in time and looked confused.
"Hey whats the big Idea? what did I do?" Romeo asked.
"Its the monster!" The lady yelled as her and the citizens looked terrified of the poor kid?
"Monster what're you talking about?"
"Knights over here apprehend this criten!" Someone else yelled.
"STOP RIGHT THERE! FOR STEALING THE CITYS LACRIMA YOUR UNDER ARREST!"
"Wait what? I didn't do anything!" But it was no use the royal army were quickly surrounding the boy. Before they could arrest the boy a women in a cloak appeared out of nowhere and snatched him.
"What the heck?" Romeo squeked as the women effortlessly carried him with one hand brought him to saftey.
"Uh thanks I guess"
The women said nothing and left. Before she did however she did wipe some dirt off Romeo's face much to his surprise.
'I feel like I know her' Romeo thought.
BOOM!
Just then a building exploded shocking Romeo.
"What is happening?"
"It all starts with this, a lacrima for daddy" A boy that looked exactly like Romeo except with blonde hair, stood above the rubble and held a lacrima.
"Thats the... city lacrima!.... now I get it the army has mistaken me for the likes of you, so where do you think your going with that Lacrima!? Say something you fake wizard!"
The oppising mage said nothing and instead squeezed the lacrima using it to blitz through Romeo.
"Woah he's fast.... wait a minute its not his speed he used spatail magic" Romeo said shocked.
"Thats odd you smell like him... no matter my name is Larcade, I'm a demon from the book of Zeref theres no time for games farewell!" The kid said warping out of there.
"Larcade? Zeref? What?" Romeo questioned. He left the scene before any more knights could find him and soon found Natsu who was fighting a gaint beast.
"BIG BROTHER!" Romeo said running up to him.
Natsu paused "Romeo what are you doing here?" Natsu said surprised as Romeo hugged him.
"I came to help you!" Romeo said.
Natsu sighed, he knows he should tell Romeo off for this but at the same time he could also use his help. He also remembered when he went on missions he wasn't suppose to so its not like he doesn't understand him.
"Huddle down" Natsu said hiding under the bushes with Romeo.
"This things fast, so I need you to cause a distraction from a safe distance"
"What should I do dress in drag and do the hoola?" He joked
"Funny, no just throw rocks at him or something from up there. Then I'll hit it with everything I've got!" Natsu explained
"You got it big bro!"
Romeo got on a cliffside and threw a rock at the ugly monster.
"HEY MEANIE! OVER HERE" Romeo yelled. The monster turned to look at him
"EAT THIS!" Romeo yelled gathering a small bit of fire in his hands and blasting him with it.
"Woah woaaaah!" Romeo missed and slipped off the ledge hurting his leg badly.
"Owee"
He then looked up and became terrified as the monster towered over him and was about to grab him.
"HAAAAAAAAA!" He screamed.
"FIRE DRAGON! BRILLIANT FLAME!" Natsu yelled slamming fire on the monsters head and killing him. He then turned towards Romeo.
"You missed..." He said. Romeo looked down afraid that he had disappointed his hero but to his surprise Natsu smiled.
"Its okay though you did good, I'll teach you some tricks when we get home sound cool?" He said.
Romeo's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Yeah!" Romeo said.
Natsu carried Romeo on his back all the way back to the guild as they laughed and smiled at the small adventure that they had. Romeo wishes to do more missions with Natsu in the future.
