(Soon, a picture of this moment is on the front page of The Daily Times newspaper read by Diane. She lowers it down to see the Bad Guys and Teresa grinning sheepishly.)

Diane: (angrily while holding the newspaper; to the Bad Guys) Trespassing, burglary, mayhem, assault with a deadly reptile? As if those poor rodents haven't been through enough already. And you drag my own sister into your mess.

Marmalade: (pleading; to Diane) No, Diane, please.

Diane: (sighs; drops the newspaper) Okay. I'm sorry, Professor, but I'm calling the chief.

[She walks off while Marmalade follows her, trying to convince her otherwise.]

Marmalade: (pleading; to Diane) Please. Come on.

Diane: (angrily; walks away) This experiment is over.

Marmalade: (pleading; to Diane) Experiments take time.

[As they talk, Teresa turned her head to Snake.]

Teresa: (angrily; to Snake) You couldn't help yourself, could you?

Snake: (retorts) So I had a moment of weakness. Sue me.

Wolf: (angrily; to Snake) That's gonna be difficult to do from prison.

Tarantula: (worried; to the others) Guys, what do we do now?

Wolf: (gets an idea; to the crew) Hmm. Time to launch a charm offensive. (walks off)

Teresa: (frowns; to Wolf) Oh, no.

Shark: (grins; to Wolf) Oh, yeah. The full Clooney.

[Wolf approaches Diane and tries to charm her.]

Wolf: (tries to charm Diane) Madam Governor. Diane.

Diane: (sees through it) Do not Clooney me, Wolf.

Wolf: (nonchalant; to Diane) Oh, I see what's going on. You think I'm still a Bad Guy, trying to bamboozle my way to freedom. But we've changed. That flower of goodness is blossoming all over the place.

Diane: (sighs; to Wolf) Don't you ever get tired of lying?

Wolf: (chuckling; to Diane) No. I mean... (stammers; then) Fudge. That was... that was a trick question, right? (rushes over to Diane)

Diane: (sighs; to Wolf) I gave you an opportunity... a chance to show the world that you're more than just a scary stereotype... but you're too proud or too gutless to take advantage of it. (approaches her limo and a man opens the door; pushes at Wolf)

Wolf: (offended; to Diane) Gutless? I'm gutless? (chuckles; angrily) Oh. I'm sorry, have we met? I'm the villain of every story. Guilty until proven innocent. Even if by some miracle we did change, who's gonna believe us, huh? Of course you wouldn't know anything about that, with your Little Miss Perfect power suits.

Diane: (smirks; to Wolf) Is that so? (pulls out a ring)

WOLF: (notices in shock and searches himself) Wait a second. What did... How did you...

Diane: (smirks; to Wolf) A wolf and a fox are not so different. (flicks the ring to Wolf) Maybe they will believe you, maybe they won't, but it doesn't matter. Don't do it for them. Do it for you. This is a chance to write your own story. To find a better life for you and your friends. Come on, what have you got to lose?

Wolf: (unsure; to Diane) I dunno, my dignity?

Diane: (raises her brow; to Wolf) Yeah, well, that ship has already sailed. (Wolf shakes his head, a bodyguard opens the door to the limo, and Diane gets inside the limo; rolls down the window) Believe it or not, I'm rooting for you, Wolf.
