For those who actually read until they reach a certain part, you'll be sorely disappointed if you expected something R rated to be fully written. That will need to wait
Also, this chapter is extra long because it's supposed to make up for last week where I skipped uploading, the last chapter which was shorter than I'd have liked and is also supposed to be this week's chapter.
[Narrator POV]
It was a beautiful day outside, birds were singing, flowers were blooming and rays of lights were piercing their way through into Lily's room through the window, causing her to turn before waking up slowly
"ugh....Damm, that was probably the best sleep I had In years" she muttered to herself with a satisfied voice and small smile on her face before her smile froze and slowly morphed into a frown as a thought crossed her mind
"Nah...surely that didn't happen..." the woman muttered to herself as she stood up and took a look at herself in a small mirror inside her room. To her slight disturbance, her intuition was proven correct as she processed what she saw
She was wearing her pyjamas, a plain pair of loose black pants and shirt
She distinctly remember wearing something different last night with Gin
....or did she really?
"..." she froze, memories of yesterday rushing back in
Of the boy in question coming back with his friend, then playing Mario kart and Elden ring, the long catching up, her private game of truth or dare with Gin, but most importantly....
The anger of getting her door broken mid game by a group of women that she had started to slowly regret summoning.
She immediately opened her door and ran down stairs only to be greeted with the sight of Kafka and jing liu looking awkwardly at something while Ruan mei was writing something on her tablet as usual and sparkle was desperately trying to hold her laughter
What was the sight they were all looking at?
It was something Lily had been accustomed to, but seeing the new version did throw her off a bit
It was Marie, looking overjoyed as she hugged a tired looking Gin from behind. Nuzzling his neck affectionately while he was reading a book and drinking some green tea
"Ah...to think that I would be blessed with meeting my husband again even sooner than I thought, this is the best" she mewled happily while Gin seemed bothered by the comment. If he was affected, her sure didn't show it to the others present here
And honestly, Lily didn't even need him to say it, she's been through this spiel enough times to know exactly how he feels, down to the way he phrases it
"You've always been bad at math" Both Gin and Lily voiced out at the same time
Marie froze, looking up awkwardly with a blush on her face while the others looked a bit stunned
"Do you think they share a brain cell?" whispered sparkle quietly, having calmed down from her near hysteria
Ruan mei raised an eyebrow in amusement before deciding to answer her fellow cursed being "That's impossible, but it is amusing...and concerning how attuned they seem to be with one another..." she spoke before going back to writing something down
"That's an understatement. They matched each other's tone. That's not something you do without knowing someone inside and out" Kafka whispered to Ruan mei as she sat down on an armchair.
Ruan mei decided to take her word for it for now, after all, she guessed that Kafka would be someone well aware of what it means to know someone like that. She was pretty close with Blade before he decided to retire from being her bounty hunter partner
