The house felt empty without him here. It's only been a few days since you told him you needed your space but it felt like a lifetime. You wanted to wake up to his head on your chest and his legs tangled with yours. It just wasn't the same waking up alone. None of it was the same. This wasn't how you intended things to go. You make the bed and head downstairs, it was time for food. You couldn't remember the last time you ate a full meal. As you walk into the kitchen Liam walks through the back door with roses. Pink ones. Your favorite. You both just look at each other. What happened between you two the other day didn't seem important anymore. He sets the bouquet on the counter and walks closer to you. Before he could say a word you embrace him and start to sob into his chest.
"Please don't ever leave again."
