⟡ POV Yeosang ⟡
In the afternoon, Wooyoung had his first real appointment for the campaign. A small photo shoot. It shouldn't be too long or extensive. We arrived at the big working location, there were bodyguards and security people everywhere. The location was outdoors in a field. Our workplace was limited and cordoned off, inaccessible to unauthorized persons. The backdrop was illuminated with large lights, everything was set up and prepared by the -Umbrella- team. The cameras were ready, waiting to be used.
I watched Wooyoung as his make-up team completed the finishing touches, paying extra attention to the flawless-looking skin. Although the outfit and appearance were important, this campaign was about promoting -Umbrella- cosmetics, after all.
Wooyoung smiled, laughed and chatted happily with the people around him. As always, he had everyone wrapped around his finger. A girl who was in charge of the hair always got embarrassed and blushed when my cousin looked at her.
Despite the relaxed mood, I couldn't shake off the unpleasant feeling I had recently. Since the meeting with Tessa and Choi San, Wooyoung had become more withdrawn. He wasn't mad at me, he never was for too long, but I could sense that something was wrong. He wasn't as bright or playful as usual. What he showed to the others now was a facade, a mask that he put on, in order to be liked. I knew he felt insecure and vulnerable since it was clear there was another model involved.
I put on my glasses and walked over to Wooyoung, taking in his appearance.
"Are we done and ready? You look good Woo."
He nodded happily, thanked the team around him who had all worked hard and winked charmingly at the enthusiastic girl, he flirted earlier with.
I rolled my eyes.
We got into position, Wooyoung in front of the camera and I stood next to the photographer, an older man with a long beard. I supported and monitored him from here and didn't leave Wooyoung alone in any of his steps. The work could be a lot and tiring, the pressure sometimes overwhelming, always watched by many eyes.
First there were a few single photos. Afterwards, San would come over so they could pose together. In this campaign it was important for Tessa to capture the beauty, freedom and fun of make-up. She wanted to spice things up with a sexy touch. She wanted to take photos in as many places as possible. This campaign would be seen in every magazine, sign or television station once it was completed. She would tell the people more about this at the press event tomorrow.
"Alright Wooyoung, it's about capturing the freedom and serenity of nature. It should look fresh and relaxed. If there are any problems, let us know and we'll take a break," the photographer called out to Wooyoung, who gave him a thumbs up.
The sun shone brightly in the blue sky, the clouds floated lightly past us, the field was filled with a few flowers, the grass was lush green.
Hongjoong had received the information for the first photo shoot and immediately gave Wooyoung a few designs and ideas. This dwarf was just bubbling with enthusiasm. But he was good at what he did, even I had to admit that.
