POV Wooyoung

The hall was large, full of reporters, cameras and distinguished guests. The cameras were ready to shoot, the notepads and pens were ready to write. The people in front of me looked like wild animals, just waiting eagerly for their next prey, next success story, next piece of news.

Me and San, the little mice, were surrounded by this dangerous crowd.

We sat next to each other on a slightly higher stage, Katy stood next to us, Tessa in front of us at the standing desk facing a small microphone. Yeosang and Jongho stood a little to the side, but kept an eye on everything. They were a little too close for my liking.

San was sitting straight as a one, shoulders back and his hands folded in his lap. The nerd tried hard, I could do that too. I put my leg over the other, delicately placed my hands on my knee and lifted my chin.

Tessa gently tapped the small microphone in front of her, hearing a loud knock. She cleared her throat, everyone was silent, all eyes on her.

"Umbrella warmly welcomes you all and thanks you for your attendance. Today is a big announcement regarding the future projects and work of our brand. I ask for silence. At the end I will gladly answer your questions."

The hurried writing on paper could be heard, a hundred ballpoint pens moved quickly back and forth.
Tessa waited a short moment, looked at her carefully arranged papers on the desk and then began her little presentation.

The camera flashes lit up in a jumbled manner, the clicking sound was an annoying noise in our ears. I smiled, putting on my best behavior in case a camera accidentally strayed towards me. I showed my chocolate side and knew exactly in which angles I looked best. The camera loved me, I loved the camera.

Tessa shared new information with the interested ears, revealed new important data, presented new products with pictures and videos. She did it well, she did it professionally. It was as if she had never done anything else in her life.

The red-haired man next to me also played with the cameras, tried to pose, tried to sneak in quietly. I was annoyed by his constant presence next to me, his disgustingly beautiful smile, his cute dimples, those perfect eyes... Wait, what was I talking about?

I shook my head, pushed him slightly and unnoticed away from me, tried to create distance between us. It was a matter of millimeter work so as not to attract too much attention.

But it was noticeable. San noticed it immediately, looked at me frustrated, then put on his smile again, put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him.

Everything in me was fighting back, my stomach was juggling stones or something. This fake friendliness from him was the worst. His perfume wafted up my nose, smelled too good to hate, to vomit on. Damned. That asshole.
