I get another call the next morning from another random number...

"Hi?"

"Hi, I know my friend called you and said your boyfriend is cheating on you, it's true you've gotta believe us. He's cheating with a girl named Vanessa. She is on the same base as him. "

I immediately hung up because I couldn't listen to anymore of this. And then my phone rang, again... it was Jake.

"Hello."

"Hey, babe I've only got a few minutes but I promised I'd call-"

"Another girl called. She said you've been with a girl named Vanessa."

"Babe I can explain.."

"Explain????? Explain what? You lied last night."

"I didn't lie, I didn't cheat. She came onto me while I was drunk and kissed me."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I.. I- I don't know, I didn't wanna make you mad."

"I can't do this anymore."

"Do what....? Don't do this. I swear she came onto me I didn't do anything back I pushed her off once I realized what she was trying to do."

"Jake, you lied about it. You... lied right to me. We're done."

I hung up the phone and went straight my car and just drove. I listened to music so I wouldn't have to hear my phone ring, I just drove. I didn't know where I was going but I knew I couldn't be in my house anymore with the clothes that smelled like him and the photos of us. I needed to be alone.

Eventually after 2 hours of driving I ended up at a nice restaurant. I decided to go in because I hadn't eaten all day.

I got seated after 15 minutes of waiting. My waiter was very friendly, she must have known that I was sad because she gave me a free bottle of champagne, I ended up taking It home because I didn't want to drink and drive alone.

After that I felt a little better and went home. Once at home I showered and went to sleep so I wouldn't have to think anymore.
