Eren woke up early the next morning to go to the coffee shop. He made sure to be quiet, he didn't want to wake Mikasa up and have another argument. He was still mad at her anyways. Judgement over appearances doesn't matter to Eren but the fact that she said about Levi really pissed him off.

Right before he walked into the coffee shop he got a text. It was from Levi and it said:

From Levi:

Eren we forgot I don't work on weekends. Come by the shop on Monday, after school, like always. Sorry if you're already up.

Eren was a bit dazed by the text because Levi had apologized. He was sorry for something. He apologized.

Despite the text or the fact that Levi wasn't working(the whole reason he came to the shop in the first place), he didn't go home. He didn't want to go home. Facing Mikasa was the last thing he wanted to do, especially in the morning.

As soon as he walked in he spotted a blond blob coming from the booths, he immediately knew who it was.

"What are you doing here?" Eren asked when he sat across from the person.

"Eren, last time I checked, I introduced you to this coffee shop in the first place,no?" Armin asked, taking a sip from his caramel macchiato. Even chuckled and nodded. They stayed in silence for a little while since Eren decided to tell Levi it was fine and that he was already at the coffee shop but it was okay since he didn't want to be home. Levi asked why but Eren refused to tell him. He didn't want Levi to think he thinks badly of him or even his family for that matter.

"Eren." Armin said, trying to catch his attention away from his phone. Amin knew who Eren was talking to but didn't mention it.
"Hm?" Eren didn't lift his head until Armin didn't say anything for a while.

"Do you like Levi?" He suddenly asked but didn't miss the surprise in Eren's eyes.

"What? N-no, what are you talking a-about? He's my... f-friend." Eren stuttered as he felt heat on his cheeks.

"I never asked you if you liked him more than a friend. And why did you hesitate to call him a friend?" Armin squinted suspiciously at Eren. Obviously, he did mean if Eren liked Levi more than a friend but then he noticed Eren's reaction so he decided to play for a while.

Armin watched as Eren squirmed uncomfortably in his seat.

Armin sighed, lowered his head an shook it before raising it up and making eye contact with Eren.

"Eren, you know you can tell me anything. You know I don't care about your interests, I care about you and that you trust me. I am your best friend, Eren. Best friends since kids, we've been through everything together, I think it's a little too late to doubt your trust in me." Eren knew Armin was right(he always was), but he was just embarrassed. Not just that, he doesn't even know in what category Levi was in.

"Ere-"

"I don't know, okay!" Eren interrupted Armin, not aware about how his voice rose.

"Shh!" Armin looked around before he faced Eren gain. "What do you mean you don't know?"

"As in I'm confused. I don't know what to label Levi. I don't know if I see him as a friend or something more. I just don't know." Eren put his hand through his hair before grabbing it and pulled some strands as frustration and stress came over him. Everything is just so different.
"Calm down," Armin took Eren's wrists and carefully detached his fingers from his hair.
"It's perfectly normal to be confused, but think about this: have you ever felt weird around Levi. Maybe a weird feeling in your stomach like something living is in there and you feel like your going to be sick, but in a good way? Or your stomach feels heavy but light at the same time? Do you feel really happy when you're around him? Any of those?" Eren thought for a while but he was't really sure. He can't just remember what he felt like, he's not supernatural.
