EREN'S POV
I hate school. With all it's shitty classes and stupid teachers. But there are some classes that I do enjoy like Marine Biology and Writing and a little of Physical Education. All my writing teachers loved me since they thought as was a good writer. In fact I am writing a novel right now. I call it "Shingeki No Titan". It is about humanity being in the brink of extinction but they are still willing to fight back. I base all my characters in real life people and their personalities. I'm the main character, I am in the book how I am in real life, stubborn, willing to fight no matter who is my opponent. Stuff like that, nothing special, everyone knows I'm writing a novel but no one has actually read it except me. Hopefully, I'll get the guts to publish it.
Since I'm getting farther into the book, not the end but not the middle, I am considering adding new characters. Though I haven't met anyone except Levi, maybe I should ask him if include him in it.
RRIIINNGGG!!!!!!!!!
The school bell ripped me from my thoughts as a wave of students rushed to their classes.I groaned remembering I have Algebra 2 with Mr.Al. He sucks at teaching. All he does is insult us and say how we will never be able to get into a good college. Ha! Jokes on him, I wasn't planning on going to college anyway! I shuffled toward his class before the second bell rang, signaling that if you get to class after the bell rung you are late. I slumped on my seat, trying not to drown in my own bad aura.

I was rushing through the crowd of high schoolers, trying to get to the school exit. But it was definitely hard when you are being pushed around like a rag doll. Once I arrived at the exit I immediately started running. Why? Because if I would have just stood there not giving a fuck then that horse-ass Jean will come after me and insult me, leading me to becoming mad and then we will get into a fight. Mikasa doesn't need one of those again.
I stopped running when I was a good distance from that hell hole. I would normally turn to the right in Titan Turnpike(it is just the street name, it has nothing to do with a turnpike. People just named it like that because they are either stupid or wanted to fuck with other people) but instead my legs made me take the left course. It seemed like my legs had a brain of its own. I finally realized where I was when I slammed face first into the glass doors, opening them and causing me to fall to the floor, an annoying jingly sound ringing through the room.
"Brat, do you even know how to open a fucking door?" A soft melody reached my ears as the words were spoken.
I hastily stood up from the floor, grabbing my nose to check for a nosebleed. Luckily there wasn't any but Levi's glare was deadly enough to paint the walls with my blood. I walked over to the table I sat yesterday with Armin, Mikasa, Sasha and Connie. The table was right next to the counter. The cafe is unusually organized, well for me. When you open the doors there is a clear pathway toward the counter where you take your order. Against the walls are the booths and tables. Behind the counter is where all the machines and ingredients and the back room for employees only are. Behind my booth there is a long little hallway leading toward the bathrooms.
"Hey brat, are you going to order anything or just sit there and eat shit?" Well, somebody had an extra bowl of BitchFlakes this morning.
"Ugh, what a horrible attitude toward a customer. If you continue this I will have to speak with the manager." I said, sounding fakely(totally a word. Right?) offended.
Levi gave me a glare but this time I smirked instead of flinching.
"Hello, welcome to The Survey Corps cafe. May I take your order?" Levi said in a monotone voice.
"Yes you may. I will take what I took yesterday, thank you."
"Oh no Mister thank you." The raven said before he rolled his eyes and walked away.
I took out my Algebra 2 book, opening to the homework page. I opened my notebook to a clean sheet of paper, wrote my name, date, period of the class, and the page of the book. Like always I only had to do the odd numbers for some weird reason. Problem number 1 and 3 were easy but number 5 was a bunch of letters and numbers. I swear whoever got the idea of putting numbers and letters together just wanted to see the world burn. I skipped numbers 7, 9, and 11 because they were just like number 5. From those on to 19 were not easy but not hard. So the only ones I was missing were the ones that I didn't know how to do. I tried to look at my notes but they were just numbers and letters flying around like Peter Pan. I tugged at my hair, frustration washing over me.
"Are you ok? You look constipated." Levi said as he put my drink on the table.
"Its just these math problems." He looked at the book, his eyes scanning the problems and equations.
"Tch, those are easy. I did them 7 years ago."
"So you are 24 then?"
"Good to know you at least know basic math."
"If you know how to do these problems can you tutor me?" Levi scowled.
"Why would I want to do that?"
"Because why not? If you do I will never bother you about you trying to kill yourself. Come on, do it for the children."
"Tch, only for today and if you breathe a word about that night at the bridge I will sacrifice you to Satan and make sure you get tortured every single day in the deepest, darkest pit of hell. Do you understand?" Levi gave me a sharp but warning look.
"Y-yes sir." Levi took the book and looked at number 5.
"Ok, so this is the same as number 3 except instead of there being a 4 there is a variable."
"Yeah, I got that but how am I supposed to solve if I don't know the value of the variable?"
"That is why you are solving for the variable."
"Why can't the variable just solve itself? I don't have time for this. Why don't they just give the value of the variable and just tell us to solve?"
"Because it doesn't work that way you smart ass. You divide instead of multiplying so then you can find the variable and then solve the problem." I stared at the problem, processing what Levi said.
"Oh. Well that makes a lot more sense. Thank you Levi."
"Tch, you are welcome brat. Its only 20 minutes until the cafe closes so hurry up."
"Yeah yeah." I said as I solved the remaining problems. When I was done, I put my stuff away and threw on my book bag.
I walked out the door with Levi behind me. He didn't have the cafe apron on but a black leather jacket. The raven locked the doors and started walking away. No "goodnight brat" or "bye kid".
What an asshole, I thought as I walked home, bracing myself for Mikasa.
