Hey guys! TODAY'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! IM 12!! WHOOOHOOO!!!
The whole one shot's in my POV... Let's continue!

ZOES POV

I woke up to a red-faced squealing Katie in my face.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZOE!!!!" Katie jumped off of me and kinda tripped over my long leg. /I'm quite tall, and Katie is quite short. No offense Katie/ all I saw was Katie fall and start giggling.
"Who let you in?" I rubbed my eyes.
"Hazel. Nico just kept telling me I wouldn't shut up so he told Hazel to get it while you slept like a rock. Oh, and by the way, you drool in your sleep."
I rolled my eyes.
"Are you trying to flirt with me Percy style?" I cocked my head to the side, as Katie giggled. She can be annoying, but I had to admit I love the kid. Even though she's older than me, she's MY MIDGET.
"Come on silly we are going to miss breakfast!" Katie snapped me out of my daze.
"But I wanna sleep mooooorrreee!!!" I sigh. I know I shouldn't try.

Time skip to after breakfast

Katie started to squeal when Leo walked over to me. She knew I had a crush on the guy, and I used her as a shield.
"Don't make me die Katie! Especially on my birthday!" She rolled her eyes and shoved me into him, making my whole face become hot, while yelling
"GET SOME!!!"
"Hi Zoe, wasn't expecting this..." Leo looked at you and smirked deviously. Oh no. KATIE WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!? I took a step back and whispered
"Katie made me kill her not me!" I whimpered and hid behind Leo. He chuckled and took my hand, and I stiffened. He chuckled again and yelled
"KATIE GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!" I heard her giggle and yell,
"NO! YOU CANT MAKE ME!!" Then she ran off to the Demeter cabin to 'inspect' her lilies. I remembered Leo was still holding my hand, and I blushed at the thought. I would wait for him to let go.
"Hey let's go burn her lilies. I will distract her and you burn the lilies. Then we run!" I whispered. He nodded and we set the plan into action. On the way, I got a lot of 'Happy birthday' and stuff. I raised a skeleton, and made it strut over to Katie. I've learned a lot of cheesy pick-up lines from Leo, and you used some on Katie. She giggled, and looked at the bush where I was hiding. Then she engulfed it in roots. I gasped.

It.

Is.

ON.

I raised two more skeletons as Leo crept behind Katie and set her lilies on fire.
"Leo, RUN!!" Leo started running and Katie turned around. She gasped, and I saw enragement light up in her eyes. She summoned vines trying to trap you, but you replaced the spots I was standing in with skeletons.

Until she actually got me.

Then I knew I was screwed.

Perfect.

A vine encased my ankle, and I tripped yelling,
"Leo, save yourself! And if I don't come out alive, tell Nico I love him and I love you!" Leo had a confused look on his face.
"What?"
"You heard me!" Then Katie's vines pulled me closer to her.

I knew I was done for.

I was gonna die.

On my birthday.

Well, I'm screwed!

I only saw the fire in her eyes grow more wild as she drew me nearer.

Long story short, I only had a broken arm, (the same arm sadly. It had been done healing only a week before!) a broken ankle, and a broken nose. Surprisingly enough, Katie knew how to punch. I was also covered in makeup, and Katie had put a PINK lily in my hair. She knew I hated pink. Ugh.
Katie walked in, with a smirk on her face. I wanted to smack that smirk off her face.
"That is why, my friend, you don't burn my lilies." Then she walked out, and was replaced by an anxious Leo. He sat next to me, and said
"Did you really mean what you said?" I nodded. He looked at his feel and blushed.
"Well lucky for you, I feel the same way." He gave me a little smile, and I felt my whole face light up. Except my nose. My nose felt like crap. I kissed his cheek, and Nico walked in.
"Zoe you shouldn't mess with that girls flowers." Then he kissed my temple and hugged me. I hugged back, then I said,
"Tell Katie we are having a deal once I become better." Nico nodded and when he left, I hugged Leo and told him I needed to rest. He nodded, and walked out. I slept with happy feelings, except for my broken bones.
