school (ugh)

You were walking through the hallways of (enter school) after your Math class. Rumor was that there'd be a new kid in science class and all your other classes. You walk alone in the hallways, being the loner you are. When you get to science class, there was a kid, he looked about your age, with silky black hair and sea green eyes. They looked like yours, but lighter. You saw a slight blush as he realized you were looking at him. You felt your face blush as you looked at your feet.
"My name's Percy. Percy Jackson. What's yours?" Percy asked holding out a hand.
" (Y/f/n)" you shake his hand as the bell rang.
"Do you want to be friends?" He asked. He was probably the new kid.
"Sure Percy. I don't have any friends... How 'bout we sit together at lunch and class?" He seemed happy about that because he nodded enthusiastically. You flashed him a smile as we walked into class.

After science, you and Percy walked to the cafeteria. Today's special was Mystery Meat. With mashed sweet potatoes. Great. My favorite meal. (Sarcastic tone) You and Percy both cringed. The smell was awful.

*time skip to sitting down*

"So..." Percy murmured. We both knew we weren't eating our food. We only sipped on the milk once in a while.
(Y/n) raised an eyebrow. "Yes?" Percy took a sip of his milk.
"What do you like, (y/n)?" You smiled. Well... "I like video games, water and dark corners to read in. My favorite color is (f/c)," you started swirling your (h/c) hair around your finger. Percy nodded. "My favorite color is blue. L-like your eyes." We both blushed like a tomato. You grabbed his hand reassuringly. "It's ok Percy." You caressed your thumb over his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. Then the bell rang. Time for English class. The class they both dreaded. They both had Dyslexia and ADHD.

Again, Percy and (y/n) sat next to each other in the back. Mrs. Trelawney (HARRY POTTER REFERENCE), the English teacher, put Percy in the back too because she thought we were both stupid. (Which we aren't.) Since she caught us "talking" (which we weren't) we got detention. Hooray.

*time skip to detention*

(Y/n) and Percy sat in Mrs. Trelawney's room. Since we're ADHD, we just tapped our fingers nervously. Then they heard a hissing noise.
"Mmmmmmmmm a sssssnack. Delliccccoiussss Demigodssssss." Then Percy drew a pen and it instantly turned into a sword. He stood in front of me protectively. "(Y/n) go outside." You stood still. "What? No!" Then you got clawed by the monster.
"(Y/n)!" Since you were guessing the scratch was poisonous, (which it was) you blacked out.

PERCY'S POV

'Oh crap she blacked out.' I was hacking away at the Emposai ~however you spell it~ and it eventually broke into dust. Wow. The English teacher is an Emposai. Ok. I picked up (y/n) bridal style and took her back to camp. I ran as my stomach growled. Man, I should have eaten a ducking bowl of cereal. Oh well. I ran until I reached the clearing for Blackjack to circle around. I did the taxicab whistle and told Blackjack to take us to camp.

Hey I know my writing style is sucky, but I'll try to update a couple times a week. Don't be worried if I don't. But I liked how this chapter turned out.
