I don't know exactly where we are on our map of Georgia but we've traveled most of the state at this point trying to find somewhere to hunker down.
We've grown more desperate as winter has finally passed and Lori's nearing what we all assume is the end of her pregnancy, so when we get to yet another group of houses and stop, no one can deny the desperation clinging to all of us that maybe this place can last longer than a few days.
Rick, Daryl, My dad, Carl, and Tdog all head for the house to clear it out while the rest of us wait in silence for the all clear to head inside.
Saying we're all a bit worse for ware is an understatement because since the weather got warmer, the walkers have started to become more frequent and it seems that each day that goes by, they only seem to multiply.
I lean against the Tahoe with Gage and Elijah, who both have long shaggy hair and scruff growing on their faces and I cant deny that my brothers changed tremendously since the farm.
Hell, he's become as good as Tdog with a gun, and Carl isn't far behind him in skill, which makes me feel a lot better than I did eight months ago about us being on the road, constantly moving place to place.
When the others inside the house whistle the all clear, we all pile inside the house, some of us carrying bags while others are empty handed because we all finally minimalized the amount of stuff we carry inside a house.
Trial and error has been nothing but a bitch these last few months as we'd all finally hit some sort of realization.
When Rick closes the doors to the house we've all entered, we sort of scatter around the house to hunker down for however long we can make it here, but no one dares to leave the lower level of the house.
Carl comes in a moment after we all settle down with cans of dog food in his hand, and I cringe at the idea, but know that hunger is driving the boy to the idea, and it's no worse than some of the other things we've eaten in the last several months.
He starts opening the cans with his can opener before Rick approaches him and picks up the cans, examining the contents before throwing it against the wall in denial to the food.
Not even a few seconds later, Tdog whispers with a head tilt and we're right back to piling out of the house and to the cars.
Once everyone's safely inside the cars and everything is taken care of, we're busting ass away from the house and back on the road once again as walkers infiltrate the area.

After we're safely away from the houses and no more walkers are in sight, Rick stops our little caravan in the middle of the road and we all get out, in yet another attempt to find somewhere to go.
We all crowd around the green hyundi as Maggie unravels our map trying to find somewhere else to head.
"We got no place left to go." Tdog acknowledges as we all look at the many red markers on the map indicating places we've already been too and cleared out for supplies.
"When this herd meets up with this one, we'll be cut off. We'll never make it south." Maggie indicates, pointing to the larger red markers on the map we've used to map out herds of walkers in the area.
"What would you say? That was about one hundred and fifty head?" My dad asks as he stares at the two groups.
"That was last week, it could be twice that now." I acknowledge what we're all thinking.
