Shen Wei was on holiday, although to others it wouldn't have looked that way. He was in a cave halfway up a mountain on a small plateau. He had been here before, with some beautiful memories from past lives and had grown to love this place. It had a peaceful atmosphere and when the entrance was sealed, it felt as though the mountain had enclosed him in its arms.

The Entity could safely separate from his host here and they sat like two campers in front of a fire sharing stories and ideas. Even though the Spirit was continually attached to Wei, he never invaded his privacy, therefore at times like these, they could ask each other questions and talk freely.

"My Young Lord, why have you waited longer this time before searching for another partner?" The Spirit asked because he was curious, not concerned or worried.

"I think I just needed some time to be by myself, and learn to know myself as I am. I loved both my partners equally, but I don't want to rush into another relationship. It's difficult watching someone leave, and I don't think that will ever change, it will always be painful. How did your first host manage to say alone for 10,000 years when my ten years is just a drop in the ocean in comparison?" Wei asked as he stared into the fire and thought about Yunlan producing flames easily in the palm of his hand.

"He was very strong but also very sad. I'm pleased that no one else has waited for that length of time. Every host has been different in their own way, sometimes the difference was subtle and invisible to anyone else except me. These are the small treasures that I hold inside my cold heart."

It was a very personal secret for the Spirit to reveal about himself because up until his last four hosts, he had kept his emotions and feelings locked behind a steel door, hidden from everyone, even the person who shared his life with him.

They sat for a while longer until Wei yawned showing his tiredness and the Spirit merged with him before he left the cave to take one last look at the sky before he would settle down to sleep, but he never had the chance. A bullet laced with dark energy passed through his chest and scraped the edge of his heart. Wei and the Spirit dropped while the poachers escaped.

He stared at the stars as he lay on the ground and if he didn't move he never felt pain, while he tried to talk to the Spirit who was not answering although he was still present, he too had been injured. Wei felt the evening temperatures slowly dropping and he knew that he had to make it back inside the cave or he would die out here. The roles had been reversed and he would have to help the Entity, so Wei placed his hand firmly over his wound and forced himself to move, trying to stand first and then took small steps towards the mouth of the cave.

Every movement was slow and he was determined not to stop until he had reached his goal, while looking directly at the rocks in front of him, with beads of sweat forming on his face from the effort of his steps. He began dragging his feet as the warm blood seeped through his fingers which were pressing firmly against his chest, while his vision grew dimmer but he made it to the cave. He tried to sit down but missed the rock when his knees gave way and he collapsed onto the small stones, unconscious as he slowly bled out.

The mountain shuddered when the warm blood touched the soil and the massive stone rolled over the entrance to protect him, but the vibration under Wei's blood stained body triggered a reaction in the orb which took him to safety, when he teleported.

Track hadn't seen the two gods for a very long time but he had a strong conviction of faith that they would come back. Therefore when his mountain rumbled, he immediately gathered his welcome pack and went to greet them. After he had climbed up to the plateau, he was surprised to see the cave sealed and struggled to move the large stone before he entered full of joy and excitement that they had returned.
