I love flying with Lu I really do, but when your signet doesn't like you to sit still for very long a 6 hour flight is not it.

I would advise you to sit back down Lu says to me in my mind, around hour 3 I had started to get antsy, so I decided to test my luck and stand up on Lu's back. Once I got the hang of standing up I started walking along her spine and once I got the hang of that I tried running.

But I'm antsy, your signet did this to my you know, I respond back pulling a snack out of my pocket as I see Deigh and Liam fly up next to us. I give Liam a wave and he shakes his head motioning for me to sit back down, a motion I promptly ignore.

I just give you power how your signet manifests is all on you, she huffs back

Fine but don't embarrass me by falling, Lu gives in with a bored tone to her words

No I do not, Deigh says and Lu snaps at him but he just laughs

It's ok I know you do deep deep down in your heart, I say blowing a kiss to Deigh but he just huffs out a breath of steam

Admit it you guys would all be bored without me, I say to all of our bonds

After we land at Monserrat we are directed to our barracks for the week, its evening already so after we settle in the lieutenants at the base show us to the cafeteria and we eat dinner then go straight to bed. The next day is a lot more boring than I thought, we get a tour of the base and get introduced to the dragons and riders that stay there as well as their signets. Most of them are civil enough to Liam and I given our marks however one rider in particular, Jaxon I think, has shown no niceties and thrown more than enough comments our way to let us know to avoid him. The fun stuff starts on the 3rd day at Monserrat, were split up in to 2 groups, one goes on a patrol flight it the morning then a sort of battle brief in the afternoon and the other group does the opposite. Unfortunately me and Liam got split up, much to the dismay of both Deigh and Lu but despite their anger don't put up a fight. Me and Lu along with Sawyer, Rhiannon, Cianna, Nadine and Heaton spent the morning with Devera in the classroom and are now currently on patrol with a few riders, including Jaxon.

Xaden and Dain are fighting again, Liam says to me sounding annoyed. I sit up from my laying position on Lu to laugh through the bond

Tell them to whip it out and measure it'd be quicker, I snicker back

No way in hell am I telling them that, he responds back

Lame, I tell him and our bond goes quiet. I go back to my normal position on Lu's back while we fly for a bit longer.

The sun has gone down by now and our group is circling around to go back to the base when suddenly all the dragons in our group change direction and shoot higher in to the sky.
