The Night Walk

Chapter 23

After some moments have passed, the clubroom is now sparkling clean as there are no more papers and inks all around the earlier dirty and messy club room, and for the credit, the now tired Sam is currently taking a nap on the couch to the side with his back leaned on the couch's backrest. 

As for Vincent and Cameron, both are still researching for a good but a bit cheaper computer brand online with Vincent doing most of the searching and Cameron doing the listing with the notebook and pen he had from earlier, they are all seated on the same couch which is long compare to the others with Vincent sitting on the left side as he does the typing on his laptop, Cameron in the middle making the list, and Sam who's still napping on the right side after the clean-up of the mess.

"Geez, there are not many good computers online... they're all expensive..." he raised both of his arms up in the air stretching it both creating a cracking sound that which made Cameron flinch, again, he didn't like that sound.

'Seriously... I need to get used of these cracking sounds if I have to stay in this school for long...'

Vincent then glances at the sleeping Sam "I guess we should let him sleep, but he just cleaned all of those mess up for an hour though, why is he so tired" he wonders as he leans back on the backrest while crossing his arms.

'Probably still tired from last night' Cameron thought as he too glances at Sam who's now snoring softly in his sleep.

By then, Vincent then goes closer to the list that Cameron has made and takes a look at it "Did you wrote anything?"

Cameron then looks at him and then at the list "Oh right" he checks the list he made earlier during their research "Let's see... we need some mouse, and for the wires, we need some extension cords and..." Cameron checks again and sees that that's all he wrote down.

"And?" Vincent wonders.

With a paused expression, Cameron shows him the list of only two things listed down "That's all" with then, his mouth turns into an X as he shuts himself up.

Vincent's expression became pale as his eyes are glued to the list "HAH!?" with that loud shout, it caused Sam the shot up awake from his nap.

"hu HUH!?" Sam looks around with full speed after being woken up by the shout.

"Great, now you woke him up" Cameron rolls his eyes as he points at the now fully awake Sam who's still looking around like a lost child.

"Sorry Sam, but WHY IS THAT ALL YOU LISTED DOWN!? WE'VE BEEN DOING THIS RESEARCH AN HOUR NOW" Vincent's mood has changed from calm to anger, but still finding his expression funny with a tweaking look.

Cameron and Sam were taken aback from his outburst "HAH!? BUT YOU'RE SEARCHING ABILITY IS TOO CONFUSING! LIKE I DON"T EVEN KNOW IF I AM EVEN LISTING THE WRONG THING SINCE YOU'RE NOT EVEN DOING IT WELL!" Cameron shouts back.

"Uhh... please guys... calm down..." Sam stands up and goes in between them to stop them from yelling even more.

"JUST... whatever... let's to this again..." Vincent goes back to his laptop and starts googling again.

Cameron then snatches the notebook from the table "Might as well"

'Phew, thank goodness' Sam thinks relived that the 2 are not going to start a fight.

"Oh, before you start, why don't we head out first? Lunch is almost up anyway" Sam said pointing at the door as he too glances at the clock.

"Fine" both Cameron and Vincent said at the same time as Cameron puts down the notebook and Vincent shutting his laptop.

Sam stands up first 'I wonder what's for lunch, hope it's not Sweet and Sour pork, but this day is already a bit sad enough, especially for Vincent Sunbae, but nothing bad will happen else' he though positively as they all headed out the clubroom.

'Never mind, I just jinxed myself...' and now that they're in the cafeteria, he saw what's in the big food trays near the line and sees that the main meal for lunch is Sweet and Sour Pork 'Ahh... Why...' he mentally cried out.

"Hey uhh... Vincent Sunbae, since you've known him for long, do you have any idea why he's sulking?" Cameron and Vincent who are lined in front of Sam, Cameron notices that Sam's been sulking ever since he saw the food, which concerns him, so he decides to whisper and asked Vincent about it.

Which then made Vincent chuckle and holding back a loud laughter "Hehe, he hates Sweet and Sour Pork" he chuckles again as he's gripping his tray tightly to hold back from laughing out loud.

"Oh, oh ho ho ho" this fact made Cameron chuckle too, but also seeing the sulk expression of Sam, he could not help but feel bad for him too.

'Puppy'

Without anyone knowing, both the President and Vice President walks in the cafeteria, but those who noticed them went silent, because both have serious looks as they monitor the cafeteria.

"They're here" someone whispers.

"Here they go again, they're on with their power again"

"Okay out of topic, don't you think they both look cute together?" A student whispers to their friends as they stare at the President and Vice President.

The student looks at them "They do, which makes it scarier if they actually become a couple and would rule the school together"

"I want them to be together, they both look so cute" and, if the President and Vice President were the ones to be partners to monitor the school, students' whispers will be of them being a cute couple if they are.

'We are aware that you want us to be together' both the President and Vice President though at the same time, and both of them are pretty annoyed of these kinds of gossip since they don't even like each other that way.

As they are walking, The President's eyes caught someone, and it's very obvious 'Him again...' which his eyes are now glued to Vincent who's been talking to Cameron even he could see that from far away.

And from afar, Sam caught the President staring at Vincent, which he wasn't surprised at all 'And there he goes again... why does he keep looking at Vincent Sunbae...' then his eyes lands on the Vice President whom he caught she could've possibly been staring at some else too 'Huh? Her too? Is it me or are these people just have habits of staring at someone, but who could it possibly be-' thoughts were cut when he heard a familiar voice from afar, he then sees Kiera entering with 2 members of the Red Cross Club.

"Oh, she's here now... huh?" he then caught that the eyes of the Vice President are actually staring at Kiera as she enters inside, which her stare isn't noticed by Kiera herself even though she's close.

This behavior, Sam didn't like what he's seeing from those school leaders 'Oh no, don't tell me she'll be the same as the President who's been scaring Vincent Subae, I don't want that to happen to Kiera too'
