Chapter 7 : Beginning Of The End

"Whoa, this is your room? Its freaken awesome" I said as I gawked at Lily's room. The room was big and painted light blue. Around the room was scattered a bunch of tech stuff along with portable video game systems. In the very back of the room was an area with a big computer desk . The computer screen itself was about 50 inches! Didn't even think monitors that big got sold, then again, this world follows its own logic. "Yeah, pretty amazing right? I don't usually show people this side of me but I trust you enough to show you Robin!."

After my confrontation with Sarah, I decided just to head home but then I ran into Lily along the way. Lily kept saying how she had something important to show me so I followed her home. I really had nothing better to do. "So this is what I wanted to show you." Lily said. She then sat down in front of the giant monitor and turned it on. What appeared on screen was basic green text on a black background saying

"ENTER COMMAND"

Lily started typing furiously while I simply gawked and then she pressed enter. The screen then flashed with scrolling green text and Lily typed even faster until all of it went blank and the screen said in small green letters

"TM project? " I said
" Yes, I believe this is Zero's secret project"
"The heck? What did you do and what was all that text.... "
"I just simply hacked into the mainframe of the old abandoned factory near here. I've always believed it was more than abandoned and once I found out it had a server, I got to work on to cracking it."
"Wait, what makes you so sure this is Zero? "
" It's just a hunch feeling"

I felt it. No, I've always felt it. This feeling, ever since I came here I always felt this. The feeling of doubt and suspicion. Its only now prominent as I heard her say that "Just a hunch feeling" She said it so casually too. Something was going on, The responses I get from the people seem natural but at the same time... they don't. Just a hunch? is that right? Or maybe I really am not used to this parallel world and its environment.
"I'm not sure what the project is but its being held at that abandoned factory. Robin, I want us to infiltrate it. Just like in a movie haha"

Now I'm being led there? Is she trying to kill me? Is this a trap? Is she actually?... Zero?

"Hey, you ok there?" Lily said and I snapped out of my little daze I was in. "If you're worried about just the two of us well, don't worry' We are bringing the whole crew, Declan, Zoe, Pooja, and Jason. We'll bring lots of weapons to defend ourselves so don't worry.
"And Sarah?" I asked
"If only she could, remember, she's being hunted and they might attack us more viciously if she's there, if there's anyone."

I thought about it. If I really was being led there, I would be granting myself a death wish but what else can I do? I'm obligated to solve this mystery behind me and this world and the only way to do that is to go and see for myself what's in that factory. I simply agreed and said to Lily I wanted to go home and that she would discuss it more with me and the others at school tomorrow. I said my goodbye to Lily and walked casually to the front door and left.

I arrived home and wanted to go to bed. It was only 5:00 but I was tired. "Hey... If I remember correctly Declan should be here." I went upstairs and into my room and there Declan was taking a nap on my bed. Yeah, this was perfect. I made a huge grin as I saw him in a fetus position. I decided to go on top of the bed and lay right beside Declan and I put my arm over his body, hence spooning him. "Yup, this is nice" I said out loud and all I got in response was a murmur. I then cuddled deeply into Declan's back,
