Zoya's POV

We were having breakfast. Monica maintained her poker face as usual; she looked stunning. Athena really likes her looks; she always says that when she grows up, she wants to wear suits like Monica. Well, I couldn't agree more because they're just wonderful.Monica was really happy when Athena complimented her or said something nice to her. But she hasn't said anything to me—only wished me good morning. Yesterday, I forgot to tell her that I was going to the club today.

"Mommy will be late today, baby. It's late work," I said to my daughter with a scrunched face. Monica listened; actually, I was indirectly telling her."Oh ho, Mommy's company is too much; you should work with Ms. Mittal."Monica eyed both of us and gently smiled.

"Then I'll take you to playschool," she offered.

"Yes!" Athena said, raising her hands. "And you don't have to call me Miss Mittal all the time; you can call me Miss Monica."
"Ok, Miss Monica," she said, grabbing her hand and walking away, kissing my cheek. Honestly, they both looked cute walking like that.

"What's up, girl?" Zach came up. "Did you find a room?""No, Zach. Most of them were booked, and I kind of made up my mind to stay there for some time."

"Wow... you're staying with Mittal Industries' boss! What was her name? Monica. Monica M. Mittal. Is she hot?"I gave him a side-eye.

"What, Zach? You're gay.""Oh no, dear. I just think the name sounds really hot. Plus, someone who saw her might have told me that she's truly an enigma."

"Whatever," I scoffed. "She's okay. Maybe a little hot, but not more than me," I said, winking."Yeah, my darling is stunning," he said, blowing me a kiss.I was dancing; it was refreshing.

Suddenly, I felt a gaze—a gaze I knew all too well. There she was, with the same woman I saw her with on the first day. But this time, there were just the two of them. She doesn't seem like the business type; she's more like a friend. But she's unusually touchy with Monica. Is it what I think it is? Does that woman have any connection with Monica? Her eyes were always on me.

This time, my confidence didn't waver at the sight of her. Monica was lighting a cigarette. Is it her habit? She looks hot doing it, but still, I don't like her smoking. Soon, her friend took the cigarette from her mouth, said something to her, and placed it between her own lips. She's also hot doing it. What is happening? Why do I find these women smoking so attractive? But I felt a little uncomfortable seeing her friend do that. What must their relationship be? Monica is not into women, plus the woman doesn't seem like a hooker, and she looks older than Monica. Maybe a friend, but as per Rishi, Monica was never outgoing with friends.

I danced thoroughly well, oozing confidence. Men were going crazy, placing money all over my garments; some were throwing money."Sweetheart, I missed your show! Where were you the past few days?" someone from the crowd said, while placing money. I couldn't see who it was. But these types of comments scare me; they kind of give off obsession vibes. Last time, a creep really followed me after the show. After some time, I saw both of them leaving. My show was almost over.

"Zoya, your admirers are getting a little impatient today. I got 50 requests.""Oh, never mind. Did you flee them away?""Yeah, and you know Monica was at your club today. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, Zoya—that woman is stunning. Damn, I don't blame you.""Good looks don't mean good character, Zach."

"Whatever, Zoya. She's kind of mean, but I really like it. She's really intriguing." Well, he was right, but my ego won't admit it.

"Never mind, Zach, I'm leaving."I got out of the club. Soon, a black Bugatti stopped at my side. The tinted window went down, and there she was, looking hot with sunglasses on.
