"DON'T TOUCH HER!" I shouted across the room. "JUST GET AWAY FROM ME!" Kie yells. "I'M TIRED OF THIS SHIT! I'M GONNA KILL YOU, KIE!" Rafe screamed.
"NO! PLEASE DON'T!" I pretend to beg and cry as I threw a book across the room, making it seem like we are really fighting.
Rafe slams a glass vase on the hardwood as Kiara lets out a blood curling scream. "HELP!"
The three of us quickly rush into the bathroom.  Kie hops into the tub, faking her death. I begin fake cry as I hover over the porcelain tub. My mascara began to run as I let the fake tears run down my cheek. Rafe got behind the bathroom door, hiding himself from view.
"Hey, you three! Whatcha do!" The guard spoke through the bedroom door. We remained silent, wanting him to unlock the bedroom.
After a few moments, the click of the doorknob ticks open. The guard looks around the room before locking eye with me on the bathroom floor.
"Please, help me." I sob. "H-He killed her!" I was really laying it on thick.
The guard pulls out his gun as he slowly walks to the bathroom. "What be this?" He asked, as he stared in shock at Kiara's hanging leg from the tub. He moves forward to get a better look, but Rafe quickly slams the door on his hand, causing him to drop the gun.
Kiara and I quickly jump up, reacting fast as we help Rafe.
Rafe punches the guard several times before he done on the ground. Rafe reaches for the lamp before slamming it onto the guard.
"Rafe, use this!" I exclaimed. I hand him the bed curtains. "Tie him up." I demanded. Kiara quickly snatched the gun from the ground.
"Stay down. Stay down. You understand!" Rafe breathed, pulling the man's arms behind his back. The two of us tie his hands together.
"Don't move!" Kiara shouts, pointing the gun at the man. "Huge mistake." He rebutted back. "You'll regret this." He says.
"Shut up! Be quiet!" I exclaimed. Rafe reaches in the man's pockets taking a phone. "Don't make a sound, all right?" Rafe says, before shoving the one more time.
"Okay let's go." I demanded. Rushing out the door. Kie and Rafe follow.
"This way. Come on." Rafe whispered, taking my hand in his and guiding me down the steps. Kiara hit on our tails.
"Hey, Rafe. Rafe, Rafe, Rafe, Rafe." Kie whispered, stopping Rafe from continuing out the hall.
"What?!" He asked annoyed. "Hey, let me see the phone." She asked, reaching out for it. "Why?" He asked. She rolls her eyes. "Just give it to me." She said. "Okay, Give me the gun." Rafe says, taking the gun and putting in the back of his pants.
"Baby, you ready?" He looks at me. His eyes are wide with adrenaline as he tries to slow his heavy breathing.
"Yeah." I whispered, resting a hand on his shoulder. "Okay, this way." Rafe guides us past the stairs into the back foyer.
But Kiara makes a beeline for the painting on the wall.
"Kie, what are you doing? Let's go!" Rafe snaps. "Hold on." She says. She quickly takes a picture of the painting before catching up with us.
"Out this way!" I pull Rafe's hand as Kiara follows us out the back door.
The fresh breeze glided across my skin as goosebumps raised. I squeezed Rafe's hands as I peaked over the fences that surrounded the house.
A bunch of guards stood watch as they let a truck full of hay and grass pass by. "Can you see?" Rafe whispered. I nod.
"I've got an idea. Come on!" Kiara rushes to the truck as it speeds off towards the exist.
Rafe and I are hot on her tail as we catch up with the truck. My breathing becomes heavy as I move my feet across the thick grass.
The truck begins to turn, slowing down in the process. "They're slowing down, hurry!" I breathed as Kiara and I reached the truck first.
I feel Rafe push me up onto the truck. His hands take my waist, hoisting me onto the hay. Kiara pulls herself up swiftly. Finally, Rafe hops onto the truck.
We thought it was over for the time being, but a young man, who seemed to be apart of the men working for Singh was sitting in the hay.
His eyes grew wide with alarming intensity as he quickly stood up.
Rafe acted fast, pushing the man against the truck. He threw a few hard punches. "Rafe, relax!" I called out, trying to ease the Kook. But he ignored me.
His anger grew more vivid with each punch. The man could barely get a moment to collect himself.
"Rafe!" Kiara says, as she pleads with him to stop. My cousin looks at me, as if to tell me to tell him to stop.
But there was nothing I could do. He was in a fit of rage. Rafe grips the man's shirt, lifting him over the truck before throwing him in a deep ditch on the side of the road.
"Rafe!" I shrieked in shock, cover my mouth. Kiara's big brown eyes, blinked several times as she held back tears. She looked at Rafe with pure hate.
The three of us were silent as we tried to find the right words to say to each other.
"Don't look at me like that, you two." Rafe says, breaking the silence. "Get under the tarp, okay." Rafe demanded. Kiara grabs the large green tarp pulling herself under it, covering her body.
"Rafe-." I try to speak but he cuts me off. "Get under the tarp, Be. Now!" He shouts.
I flinch from his outburst towards before climbing under the tarp with Kiara. Rafe follows behind laying next to me. He slides his hands around my waist as I burry deep into the hay.
Kiara closes her eyes and opens them repeatedly as if she's trying to wake up from a bad dream.
"It's gonna be okay." I take her hand in mind, pulling it close to my chest. Her hand accidentally grazes against Rafe's as his hand is wrapped around my body.
She slides her hand away tucking it under her head. "Kie...." I say, but trail off, not knowing what to say. Kiara shakes her head.

The truck ride felt long as the three of lay still under tarp. Ten. Fifteen. Twenty minutes go by. I could feel the sweat drip down my forehead. Rafe's calloused hands graze the skin under my shirt as his fingers dug in my side as if I was gonna runaway.
The truck comes to a sudden stop before voices can be heard from above.
I held my breath in fear of us getting caught. Kiara closed her eyes tightly and whispered a "please god" to herself.
I felt Rafe burry his head in the back of my neck. He laid a soft kiss on my skin, calming me from the panic I was feeling.
And after a long pause, the truck began to move forward once again, finally making it off the wife property.
I quickly pushed myself up, throwing the tarp off of me. We were completely covered in hay and grass. My hair felt matted and dry and my skin was rough from the hay.
Kiara took a deep breath, grateful to be out from under the tarp.
"I told you we just had to work together." Rafe starts. His hands still around my waist pulling me into his chest as we sat in a sitting position.
"All right. Listen, I've got a boat, okay. I can give you a ride out, drop you wherever, somewhere safe." Rafe spoke to Kiara.
"She's not going alone." I exclaimed. "I'm coming with her."
The corner of Rafe's lips turned as his jaw ticked with annoyance. "Be..." He trails off, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Did you really think she was gonna stay with you?" Kiara finally chimes in. "We both need to get off this fucked up island. Phoebe's coming with me-." Kiara spoke, but Rafe cuts her off.
"Then I'm coming with her." He says. "Rafe, what the hell are you talking about?" I snap. "You can't come back to Kildare. There's nothing left for you there. Go back to your dad." My words were final. But I could tell Rafe wasn't done.
"That's it? You're just gonna leave me? After everything we've been through?" He breathed. His dark blue eyes glared at me then at Kie. I could tell he wanted to scream.
"Look Rafe!" Kiara said. "We just want to get off the island." Rafe laughs. "That's smart. You know I never thought of you as a Pogue." He smiles.
Kiara scrunches up her face. "What did you think of me as?" "I mean, I always liked you, Kie. You're at least half Kook."
Rafe received an uncomfortable chuckle from Kiara. "So what do you think of Phoebe?" She asked.
I whip my head around for his answer. Rafe smirks as me before looking me up and down. "She's Phoebe. My Phoebe." He laughed. His hands glide up my arms as he plays with the strap of my shirt. His fingers cause goosebumps to rise.
Me and Rafe have done far more intimate things in front of the Pogues. But it felt very wrong at the moment. It made me feel trapped between my mind and my heart.

The truck drives through town coming to a stop as a several people cross the street.
"Come on." I breathed, pulling away from Rafe as I rush out the truck. Kiara quickly follows then Rafe.
"My boats down here." Rafe says, guiding us to the dock. He manages to take my hand in his, pulling me along side him.
"Make sure your shoes are off." Rafe demands. I rolled my eyes. Of course, he would be worried about us scuffing up the boat.
I glance behind me. Kiara wore an uneasy expression on her face. She halted at the end of the dock. Glaring at Rafe.
"Baby, come on." He roughly pulls me onto the boat. I let go of his hand, pulling my shoes off. My bare feet felt cold from the ocean breeze.
"Okay, we should have enough juice to get us to Saint Lucia, no problem." Rafe says, pulling a bowline away from the dock.
"Hey, get in the boat." Rafe says to Kiara as she still stood on the dock, unsure of the situation. "Kie come on." I plead.
"You're not gonna pull anything if I get in?" She asked, ignoring me. "No, I'm not gonna pull anything, okay? I'm trying to do you a solid here." He explains.
"You're only doing this for Phoebe?" Kiara argued. "No, I'm not!" Rafe raised his voice. "And even if I was, I'm still helping you. You really wanna be back there with Singh, or do you wanna be somewhere safe? Can you please help me with the bowline?" He huffed.
Kiara finally agrees to get onto the boat. She nods her head to me. I quickly follow behind my cousin. The two of us sitting by the bowline.
"I don't like this, Be." She whispered. "I don't feel safe with him. And neither should you." She pretended to have trouble with the line.
"I want him off this boat?" She finally says. "Kiara, I can't just ask him to get off the boat. What do you want me to do? Knock him off?"
"Yes!" She's quick to answer. I blink several times at the girl. Family was important to me. And I did not want Kiara to feel unsafe. "Okay."
"Hey, babe! Baby!" I explained. "Yeah!" Rafe calls out. "We can't get it! It's stuck!" I say, pretending to struggle with the line.
"What?" He asked. "We need some help!" Kiara shouts. Rafe finally comes over to us.
"Move." He says. Kiara and I quickly back away from the edge. Rafe leans over the railing, reaching for the line.
And as he pulls the last the line away; I quickly snatch the gun from his back pocket before Kiara pushes him hard into the water.
"Hurry!" I shout, running up the dock. Kiara grabs the wheel, quickly pulling the boat from the Rafe.
"KIE! BE! Where are you going!" Rafe screams. "I'm sorry!" I apologized. "We've gotta help our friends!
"You're gonna regret this shit! You're done! KIARA! PHOEBE!"
I watched Rafe bob in the water. His was enrage with me. I knew this wasn't gonna be the last time I see him. The question is when will I see him again.
