Poison awoke to shuffling around her bed. She felt someone take her claw in their own and had to force herself to not stiffen. For some reason she didn't feel any threat coming off whoever it was with her.

"Poison, please wake up, it's so boring without you... I realised that ever since I came here, I barely got any time to spend with you. I am so really sorry, but please just wake up," She heard sniffling and from what she could tell that squeaky voice must have belonged to Kinkajou. She was in no way hurt or sad that the RainWing barely acknowledged her these past few days, she honestly couldn't care less.

"Unhand me and consider yourself forgiven," Poison said opening her eyes. She looked down to find Kinkajou kneeling beside the bed she was on.

"POISON!" Kinkajou shouted. The dragon in question winced at the loud noise. Without a second of break, the RainWing smashed Poison in a massive hug. Poison was shocked by how much strength she had put in the hug. Poison didn't have it in her to push the little dragonet off, so she just melted in the warmth.

"I guess you did unhand me...?" Poison muttered. The made Kinkajou let out a small laugh, which in return caused Poison to smile.

"How's Tamarin? Is she ok? Did someone die?" Poison questioned as Kinkajou was pulling away from her. She would never confess that she was disappointed the warmth was gone.

Other than that, Poison had hoped that she was able to save the blind RainWing from getting hurt. Tamarin was cute, she was quiet and intelligent and cute. And even though Poison barely knew anyone, she still hoped that no one died, that would make everyone sad and even though she didn't mind it, she didn't want to walk on eggshells.

Instead of Kinkajou, a new voice answered.

"Tamarin is safe, she was barely hurt all thanks to you. Carnelian was likely to be dead but seeing that you pushed her out of the cave mere seconds before the explosion, she survived with a few scratches. Sadly, Bigtail seemed to already be in the cave and wasn't able to make it."

Poison looked up to see Sunny standing in the entrance of the cave. Unsurprisingly, the kind-hearted SandWing Princess looked like she had been crying.

Poison hesitated, mentally hitting herself for what she was about to do next. The explosion clearly messed with her head. Shocking everyone, even herself for actually doing it, Poison opened her wings slightly.

"You look like you need it," Poison muttered, looking away, still not believing she was doing it.

Sunny didn't even hesitate before hugging her tightly. Being mindful of her injuries, she didn't hug Poison as tightly as Kinkajou had but it held so much emotion it was suffocating.

Kinkajou had enough sense to leave seeing that this was going to get emotional.

"I-I was so scared when Clay dragged you out of the cave. I thought you were d-dead! Never scare me like that again. You are my little sister who I always wanted to have, but never got the chance of having. I don't want to lose you, when I barely got the chance to know y-you," Sunny sobbed, her voice cracking a few times. Poison clearly hadn't expected this, for someone to be so upset, to actually be crying because of her.

She awkwardly hugged Sunny back, patting her back trying to comfort her. "I'm sorry," she whispered.

They stayed there hugging for who knew how long, but then Sunny had to leave. She told Poison to stay in the medical cave, only satisfied when Poison nodded with a frown.

Poison promised she planned on staying, but her body was aching. She stood up for a stretch but seeing she wasn't that exhausted; she quietly left the cave.
