After getting a fair distance away from her cousin and her friends, Poison started debating on whether she should follow Clay's order and go to history or say screw it and bunk the class.
"Just go flying already! Goodness! You don't wanna go to go to history, neither do I!" Tulip yelled at Poison, almost as she could hear the mini war going inside her head. Her yell was all the confirmation Poison needed.
"Aish, you're right. Screw this shit."
Poison bounded over to the nearest exit and jumped. She spread her wings, cutting through the air as she dived downwards before she flew upwards. She jumped in and out of wind currents, allowing Tulip's scream and giggles motivate her.
Poison just lived in the moment with no worries or thoughts about the past or the future.

~A few hours later~
Poison peacefully laid her back against the trunk of a ginormous tree, watching the beautiful blazing sun disappear into the horizon. Tulip was laying down on the grass beside her, her eyes closed and small cute snores coming from her.
After hours of flying Poison was bummed out.
She was tired. Not tired as in she would drop dead any second. Just tired enough to have her wings ache and want to relax.
"Ah ha! There you are!"
A voice came from behind Poison, soon followed by the footsteps of a dragon.
If it wasn't for the familiar footsteps of the dragon Poison had grown used to being in her life, a dart would have probably landed in the dragon's throat for ruining the peaceful moment.
"What is it Qibli?" Poison asked softly. Her voice a whisper in the wind. She allowed her eyes to flutter shut, allowing them to get some rest too.
"I still don't understand how you can tell it's me without even looking at me!" Qibli replied sitting down next to the little princess. "Wow, the view is beautiful! No wonder you are spending your time here instead going in the prey centre for dinner."
A small smile flickered onto Poison's face. If this was the Qibli that Poison knew all too well, and not an imposter, there was bound to be a pile of fruits somewhere near them.
"I'm not hungry," Poison said, opening her eyes.
"Meh, thought so, but there's still apples if you want them," Qibli replied, laying down on the grass. He looked up at the sky which was starting to get dark.
He looked up at Poison and laid his wing out, motioning Poison to join him
Poison let out a little sigh and followed his movements, laying down on the grass with him. She closed her eyes once again, feeling the cool air of the almost night sky against her scales. There was this comforting silence around them, and the sound of crickets chirping could clearly be heard.
"You know, the day we came to get you I heard you singing, and your voice was amazing. If you don't mind, could you sing for me?" Qibli asked, interrupting the silence as he turned his head towards her.
Poison's eyes snapped open, a small blush growing onto her face. This was a very embarrassing moment for her, because Tulip was the only one other than him who Poison had ever sang for her. Poison greatly doubted her skills and was scared to sing right now, but she assured herself, because this was Qibli, he wouldn't harm her.
