Swimming- Boat Boys(fluff)

Could be set in Hermitcraft S10 or life series, or some AU. There's really no specific setting.

*Etho's POV*

I was walking in the forest thinking about a redstone creation, and also Joel, because crushes are stupid and for some reason I have to think about him every minute of the day (Same, Etho, same).

After I'd been walking for a bit I came across a little clearing with a lake in the middle and some flowers around it. Sitting on the side of the lake with his feet in the water was Joel.

He looked beautiful, with the glow of the fireflies around him and the flower crown in his hair. The whole scene looked like it should be a painting.

I walked over to where Joel was sitting and went to greet him.

"Hey Joel," I said.

"Hi Eefo!" Joel said.

He patted the spot on his right gesturing for me to sit down, so I did. I sat cross legged though to not get my feet wet.

We talked about random stuff for a bit, I got kinda distracted though. I was probably staring but I couldn't help it. He's just so pretty.

"Eefo? Are you okay? You seem distracted," Joel said.

"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine," I said.

"What were you thinking about?" Joel said.

"Just a redstone project," I said.

"Do you wanna swim?" Joel said.

"But my clothes will get wet," I said.

"Oh, c'mon you can deal with it. The water isn't cold,"

"Ok, sure," I said,

Joel stepped into the water, it was about up to his neck. I went into the water after him, it was only up to my shoulders though.

We swam around and splashed water at each other for a little while. He was so cute while swimming around, how was I supposed to look at him and not confess my love?

'Maybe I should confess, I need to do it at some point'

"Joel?" I said.

"Yeah?" Joel siad.

"Can I ask you something?" I said.

"Of course Eefo," Joel said.

I hesitated for a bit but decided I needed to say it.

"I like you, a lot, I completely understand if you don't feel the same, I just needed to say it," I said.

There was a pause for a second and I got really worried about how he would respond but then he spoke.

"I like you too Eefo," Joel said.

After he said that I swam over to him and kissed him, he kissed back.

We swam and splashed around a bit more before we got out of the water, we both walked home to our own houses and hung out again the next day.
