Back home

After a whole two weeks of classes, practices and games, I finally get to go home for the weekend. But first, let's get practice over with.

"Look at that" I groan and look over to see Morgan making her way to me. "Sades is actually smiling" she nudges me and I roll my eyes. "What got you all happy today?" she asks sitting down next to me since her locker had to be next to mine.

"I'm going to visit my family and watch my sister's game" she raises an eyebrow at me. "Oh? Your sister plays basketball?" I nod my head and smile remembering how good of a player Kate is and hoping she goes to the WNBA. That's one of my dreams for her. She gives me a smile and ties her shoes up.

I sat there for a bit scrolling through my phone waiting for practice to start.

I sigh and put my phone away and leave the locker room to go to the gym and start practice. the whole practice, I was debating on who I should bring. It was between Ice, Morgan, Paige, KK, Azzi and Nika. I feel like I shouldn't bring Paige or Azzi because what if they get jealous and I ruin their relationship? So they're out of the question.

After practice, I met up with Ice, KK, Morgan and Nika. "What are you guys doing this weekend?" I ask them. "Homework" Ice says. "Meeting up with Hana" Nika then says and I pray that KK is free. "I'm busy" I groan and look at Morgan and she smiles at me. "I'm free. Wanna do something?"

I mentally kill myself and take a deep breath and watch the others leave to do their own things. "Wanna come with me to Iowa?" please say no. PLEASE SAY NO. "Yeah sure" damn. "When are we leaving?" I look at the time on my phone. "Two hours" she nods her head and she grabs her bag and we make our way to our dorm.

I didn't pack yet so that's what I did. It didn't take long since we were staying there for only two days so theres wasn't much we needed to pack. I check the time and we are supposed to be at the airport in half an hour. 

"Morgan, you ready?" I ask grabbing my duffle bag and walking out of my room and to her room. "Almost. I'm trying to find something yellow" I raise an eyebrow and set my bag by her door. "Why?" she grabs a shirt and examines it then puts it back. 

"Well, I checked the Iowa's women's basketball schedule and theres a game Saturday which means I have to wear something yellow" of course. "I have a few things at home that you can wear" she looks at me as if I was lying. "Okay then. I'm ready now" 

We make our way downstairs to the front where our Uber was waiting for us. He then drives us to the airport and I thank him as he dropped us off. We grab our suitcase and go through security and all of that and now, we're on the plane waiting for takeoff.
