A girls girl

"Nika!" I shout out the window but she kept on walking to the grocery store entrance. "Don't take too long!" she gives me a thumbs up before disappearing into the store.

I slowly turn my head and look over at Qadence. That's why I want Nika to hurry up. I don't like Qadence that much. I don't know. Her vibe isn't it. But at least Morgan is here. She wouldn't let me go if she wasn't there while Qadence was around. I would you usually be bothered by that, but I was grateful this time.

We were all chilling in the car waiting for Nika. Morgan started talking her ears off to me about our next game and how we're playing against Iowa. She didn't tell anyone that we're going to play against my older sister and let's keep it that wast.

Qadence then gets a call and she answers. I pretended like I was scrolling through my instagram so she wouldn't think I was listening but I totally was. "No, I was in my dorm last night" she says and I raise an eyebrow and immediately opened up my messages with Morgan.

"Yes I was...yeah me, Morgan and Sadie were chilling inside" I pause and look back at Morgan who immediately looks back at me. "Yeah...they can vouch for me" I shake my head and I wanted to say something but nothing came out.

"We want nothing to do with this" Morgan whispers from the back seat and I nod my head telling Qadence that I agree with her. "No parts. No pieces. No slices" I tell Qadence.

"She said she wants to talk to you" Qadence says looking at me and I shake my head. "Fuck no" I whisper. "Yeah, talk to her...here" she hands me the phone and I lean back not wanting to talk to whoever was on the phone.

"Come on, just talk to her" Qadence whispers to me. I sigh and slowly grab the phone and quickly look back at Morgan silently asking for help. I take a deep breath and put the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?" I say and then this girl started talking to me and asking what was going on last night. "I was actually asleep" that's not a lie. I passed out at 10 pm. "I was in my bed. I don't know what was going on-" I then get cut off by Qadence. "We were both asleep" she says and I look at her.

"I'll let you know right now that she's lying" Qadence gives me a little hit on the arm and I push her away. "Even if I was awake, I would have been either with Morgan or doing homework" I tell her. "Stop lying" Qadence raises her voice at me and Morgan hits her arm.

"Qadence. You're not going to sit there a lie to this girl" I tell her and she started saying things and trying to defend herself but I just kept talking over her. "She was outside. She was in the streets okay?" I tell the girl and Qadence tried grabbing it but I moves so she could grab it.

"I have no clue where she was" she tried grabbing the phone once again but Morgan stopped her. "Oh, she's done with you. Over, finito, donzo, denisovich" I say with straight eye contact with Qadence. "Give me the phone" I shake my head and started talking again.

"I'm a girls girl so I gotchu babe. Stay safe" I was then done talking to I hand her back her phone and smile at her. "Now what did we learn?" I ask her and cross my arms in front of me. Qadence wouldn't answer me since she was typing on her phone.

"That we will snitch on you" Morgan answers and I give her a high five. I then look over and see Nika making her way over with the Gatorades. She lifts them up in the hair and waves it around and gives us a huge smile.

This girl.

I remember having my first ever Gatorade... and that was a mistake.

"Do you want one?" Vanessa asks grabbing a blue bottle from the fridge and shows it to me. "What is it?" I ask taking the bottle and examining it. "It's Gatorade" whatever that is.

I shrug and take a sip and my eyes go wide. "This is so good" I say and Vanessa laughs and I hand her back the bottle. "You can keep it" I thank her and take another sip of it.

"There's more in the fridge if you ever want some more but don't have one like everyday" I nod my head and she gives me a kiss on the head before leaving the kitchen.

That was a mistake showing me the new drink.

"I got them" Nika says getting into the back and handing Morgan and I's Gatorade. "Where's mine?" Qadence asks and Morgan and I side eye each other. "You didn't ask" she says and I smirk and Qadence drives off back to school.

Once we got to school, Nika, Morgan and I quickly got out of the car and ran inside since it started raining. "So what happened when I was gone? I felt the tension" Nika says pressing the elevator button.

I look back to make sure Qadence wasn't around before I spilled the beans. "So we all don't like her?" Nika ask and Morgan nods her head and we start laughing. "I'm going to Azzi's. Wanna come?" Nika asks and we both nod our heads and make a detour.

Once we got to Azzi's we played games and she made us eat some of fruits that she cut up which was fine. I love fruits. They're so fruity.

Just like Paige and Azzi.
