Tournament Pt. 2

"Run back!" Kobe shouts and we all rush back on defence. "I got five!" Gigi shouts as we pick up our checks. "Watch screen" I tell Zoie and we switch players so that things don't get confusing. "Screen on your left" Kat tells me but it was too late.

The girl ran into me, hard. making my knee go out of place and I immediately fall down and cloth onto my knee in pain. The ref blows the whistle and I can hear people asking if I'm okay and saying my name.

"Sadie? Can you get up?" Kobe ask kneeling down next to me. "It hurts" I tell him and he nods his head while the other girls go back to the bench. "I'm going to bring you back to the bench okay?" I nod my head and he helps me sit up.

I take a small glimpse at the crowd and I can see Vanessa holding her heart, clearly praying and stressing out. "Can I help you to the bench?" Kobe ask and I nod my head and he easily picks me up and the crowd starts clapping as he brings me to the bench and sits me down.

"I got ice" Anna says and hands Kobe the ice. "Lift your leg up a little" he tells me and I do what he says. He places my leg on the chair while the girls go back on and start playing again. "You'll be okay kid" he ruffles my hair and I glare at him. He knows I hate when people do that.

"You'll be okay"

We were all gathered around Morgan to see if she wasn't okay until coach spoke up. "Okay girls. Back to the game" Geno tells us and Allie goes in for Morgan. I look at Morgan one last time before going back onto the court and we finish the game. Every now and then I would glance at Morgan to see if she was okay. I got that habit from Gigi. When I got hurt, every other second she would look at me to make sure I was okay.

Once the game was over, Kate and her friends came over to us. "Good job Sadie!" Jada says and pulls me into a hug while Caitlin and Kate starts talking to Paige and Azzi. "I saw you how you kept looking at your little friend" Jada whispers to me since people were still around.

"Alright girls. To the locker room" Geno tells us and I excuse myself from Jada's gorilla grip and rush to the locker room and wait for the pep talk. The talk was quick because he knew we were all starving and just wanted to back to the hotel to relax. "Good job today girls. Proud of every one of you" he gives us a smile before leaving so that we can get changed.

I quickly put my Nike tech on and pack my bag and rush out but not before checking up on Morgan. She told me she was okay and that Allie would help her. I find myself in front of my sister and friends who all have smirks on their faces. "Can we go and eat something before I crash out?"

We went to Chipotle before they dropped me off at the hotel. apparently they're not staying in the same hotel as we were, which was sad, but it's okay. "Thanks for the ride" I do Gabbie and I's hand shake before moving on to Jada and Caitlin then give Kate a bear hug from the back since she was the one driving.

"Text me when you get to the hotel" I tell them and open the car door and tell them that I love them before shutting the door and rushing into the hotel and up to my room. On the way up, my phone starts blowing up with texts.
