Sadie

Money

"Mom? What are you doing?" I ask my mom and watch her go through everything clearly looking for something. "Money. I need money" I frown and look around the living room. Empty pill bottles, empty beer cans, food everywhere and empty wine bottles.

I always hated seeing her like this. Every day she's like this and everyday she's looking for more money. She used to have a job but I don't think she has it anymore. I sigh and go to my room and I collect all my saved up money and go back to where my mom was.

"Here" I hand her everything and she just looks at it. I gave her the money now because she would have found it eventually. Just like last time. "I'll pay you back. I promise I'll pay you back" she mumbles and I roll my eyes at her and walk away. She hasn't paid me back for all the other times she promised me.

"I don't count on it"

"What are you doing here?" I ask eyeing her and slowly shutting the door so that she has no way in unless she actually forces herself in. "I came for a little visit" she had that damn smirk on her face and I always hated it.

It always meant trouble.

"What do you really want?" I ask her and she literally forced herself in so I sigh and shut the door. Nothing. I wanted to see you" bullshit. "I'm not an idiot. I've been through this my whole life so how much do you want?" I grab my wallet that was placed on the table by the entrance.

"What are you talking about?" I roll my eyes and pull some cash out. "How much do you want? $10? $20? $100?" I ask counting the money and staring at her. I want her to leave so bad so I'm willing to give whatever. "What made you think I want money?"

"You never want to just want to see me and you made it very clear years ago" I put my wallet down and she eyes it and that's how I know she really needs the money. "Sadie?" I look behind my mother and see Trevor with Nat behind him.

"What's going on here?" he asks taking his jacket off without leaving his eyes off my mother. "She was just getting something before leaving for good right?" I tell my mother and she slowly nods her head.

"And what is that 'something' she was getting?" Trev asks eyeing her. "Just some money that's it" Trev shakes his head and whispers something to Nat before I watch Nat walk over to me and dragging me upstairs.

Trevor

"Didn't we agree that you wouldn't come by anymore?" I ask Cynthia and cross my arms. "Yes I know but I need the money" I sigh and watch her eye Sadie's wallet so I grab it and put the money back in and put it in my back pocket.

"How much would it take for you to leave and never come back?" I ask opening the drawer next to me and grabbing the cheque book. "Whatever you'll give me" I just wanted to roll my eyes then and there but I kept it professional.

I write some numbers down and wrap the paper apart and hand it to her and she looks at the amount and her eyes go wide. "T-thank you" I hum and watch her stuff it in her pocket. "I know that I was a bad mother but please take care of my baby" she says before leaving.

I sigh and put the cheque book away and make my way upstairs. I knock on Sadie's door and she tells me I can come in so that's what I did. I see Sadie and my girlfriend going through her phone probably looking at horrible photos of me because that's what they like to do.

"Trev look!" Sadie shoves a nasty ass photo of me to my face. "Alright. Stop that" she chuckles and puts her phone away and stares at me. "So what happened?" She asks looking at me all worried. "You didn't give her money didn't you?" I stay silent and she sighs.

"How much did you give her?" She looks worried. "Don't worry about it. What do you guys want for supper?" I ask switching the subject and I knew I would get a hell of a talking later on but it's okay.

"Trevor! Come help us with the food!" Kate shouts from downstairs so Sadie goes and runs off leaving Nat and I. "Everything okay?" Nat ask wrapping her arms around my waist as I wrap my arms around her. "Yeah. Let's go"

Sadie

"What did you get?" I ask trying to look inside the containers but I was getting pushed aside by Kate. "Let me see before I expose you" I tell her and stare at Claire so Kate backed off.

"Can we eat now?" Kennedy ask clearly hungry as fuck. She's a big back. "Are you staying for supper?" Kate asks Claire and I stare at them while everyone else is helping around the kitchen. "I mean, I don't want to interfere with-" I quickly cut her off and put my best smile on my face. "You're not interfering and we would love for you to join us" I can feel Kate glare at me but I don't care.

"Besides. I'll have go get to know my future sister in law" I whisper the last part only to those two. "Sades. Stop annoying your sister and come help me" Matt says from the other side of the room. "Fine. Always ruining the fun"

The rest of the nigh, we ate our food and got to know Claire better and we played some game before everyone went home and now I'm currently standing in Trevor's room. "Can I help you?" he asks laying down in his bed and I just glare at him. "How much did you give her and don't like"

"Look. I gave her enough for her to keep busy okay? Now go to bed. You're annoying me" I scoff and shut his door and make my way up to my room but not before having my nightly conversation with Kate and Kennedy.

We're all in Kennedy's bed talking about stuff like we always do. "So thoughts on Claire?" Kate blurts out and Ken and I both look at her. "You're asking us? About an opinion on a girl? That's your friend?" Kennedy asks all confused but I wasn't. "Yeah"

"Well I think she's nice" I quickly say so that Kate won't stress about it. "Yeah she's cool. I like her" Kennedy adds on making Kate relax a little. "Why are you asking?" Kennedy adds again. "Just asking"

I wiggle my eyebrows at Kate and she flips me off behind Kennedy's back. We then talk a bit more before Kennedy kicked us out of her room. "Goodnight Sades" Kate gives me a little side hug. "Goodnight love bird"

"Fuck you" she says. "Kate! No swearing in the house!" Jill shouts from the living room upstairs. "Sorry" I laugh in her face and rush to my room and lock the door before she could get me.

When they actually start dating, she'll never hear the end of it.
