I swear I almost fell asleep in my last class. Kayla had to wake me up a few times. "Dude, are you good?" Kayla ask, packing her bag up and grabbing mine since I was taking too long for her liking. "Totally" she looks at me and rolls her eyes. "Well you better fix yourself before the game tonight"

Right.

I momentarily forgot about that.

Kayla and I make our way out of the class and walk to the little cafe she showed me on the first week of school. We're meeting some of the girls here for a little coffee or snack. "So you know how I work in the basketball media industry kind of" Kayla starts off. I give her a quick glance before nodding my head.

"Yeah...what about it?" She opens the door to the cafe for me and I thank her before looking around to see if anyone else was here. To my surprise, it was only Morgan. Sitting in the corner, on her phone.

Just walked in with Kayla

She looks up from her phone and waves us over. "As I was saying, why didn't you tell me we were playing against your older sister tonight?" I nervously laugh and sit next to Morgan. "I had a feeling that you'd figure it out on your own" I tell her.

"What are we talking about?" Morgan ask giving us all a smile. "Just how Kayla just found out about Kate" I explain to Morgan and she nods her head. Morgan already knows so it's no surprise to her. "Are you guys going to get anything?" Kayla asks looking through all the options.

I look at the menu but Morgan had to lean over to look at the menu since there was only two and Kayla was using the other one. I giver her a little side eye and she felt it, so she moved away a little. "Here" I give her the menu since I already know what i'm getting. "Thanks"

"Who else is coming?" I ask and Kayla checks her phone. " Um, I think Aubrey and Carol are coming for sure. The others...I'm not sure" I nod my head and look up and see Aubrey walking in with Caroline. "Hey guys" Aubrey says and Caroline sits next to me and has this huge smile on her face.

"What's up with the smile?" Kayla ask mimicking her face. "We all agreed on something special for Morgan" I raise an eyebrow at Caroline asking for an explanation. "Remember when we had that conversation" she says to me and I shake my head.

"We had a lot of conversation so you're gonna have to sum it down a little" she sighs and Morgan laughs a little. Morgan is always laughing. It's annoying. "Well we all agreed that Morgan will be the one hyping the bench up whenever someone makes a three" Morgan looks over at Caroline all confused.

"Oh shit. I forgot about that" I nervously laugh and pretend to look at the menu again. "Why are you so quiet?" Morgan ask poking my side. She then looks at me and gasps. "You're the one who came up with that idea, didn't you?" I look away and pretend to look at all the different things in this cafe.

"So are we ordering?"

"So what's up with you and Sadie?" I groan and lay down on my bed, looking over at Ice. "Nothing. Stop asking me that" she gives me a small chuckle. "Look. I don't know you that well but I have a feeling that you don't always act like that with everyone" I sit up and glare at her. "In what way do I 'act' like?"

"I don't know" I roll my eyes and get up from my bed to get ready for the game. "Hey Morgan?" I look to my door that just opened to reveal Sadie who's looking at me like she did something wrong. I quickly glance at Ice and she gives me this look that I immediately ignore. "Everything okay?" I ask and I could just feel Ice's stare.
