Chapter Ten

Police cars' siren could be heard from downstairs. While Taemin and Detective Jung climbed the stairs to reach the 2nd floor.

As they entered the private room of the club 'Secrets', the room was dimly lighted and sealed with crime scene tape.

In the room, Patrick's lifeless body lay on the ground by the sofa with a bullet wound on his chest. Patrick had been killed.

Patrick's men had reported earlier this afternoon finding his dead body in the private room where he always stayed.

Taemin and Detective Jung squatted down near Patrick's body to look at his face, which had paled.

When a police officer came and stood behind them, Detective Jung turned back to ask, 'Did you find his phone?'

'No, sir, it's nowhere to be found,' the officer answered.

Detective Jung nodded and turned back to look at Patrick's body.

'Who's your murderer, Patrick?' Jung whispered.

When he heard Taemin whisper, 'a lion,' Detective looked at Taemin to see him holding a badge with a lion symbol.

Jung enquired with a frown, 'where did you find it?'

'It was under the sofa, shinning,'Taemin answered.

Listening to Taemin detective seemed to Slip in thought.

'What about CCTV footage?' Taemin questioned.

There are no CCTV cameras in the Club,' the officer replied.

Meanwhile, a black clothed man entered in a dark room, where the same lion symbol embossed on the wall.

Under the symbol situated a loyal spinning chair and a huge table.

As soon as the man entered the chair turned revealing Aiden's bestfriend, Jihan.

The man positioned near the huge wooden table,' sir, what should we do with Patrick's phone?'

' Just destroy it. Until now Aiden has reached Incheon port and my men at Park's mansion to kill Haeun. There won't be Aiden to nose in my job.'

'You're so clever boss.'

'I know, now leave.'

The man bowed and left. When Jihan started to laugh like a maniac, while turning back towards the wall.

Unfortunately, Jihan was Leo, Ahn's son and kims' enemy.

On the other hand, Yunha closed Haeun's room after checking on her. Haeun was sleeping peacefully.

As Yunha walked down the stairs into the living room, no one was around, and all the lights were off. The living room was bathing in black.

When Yunha took the center of the living room and scanned the whole area, 'It's the silence before the storm,' she mumbled.

That's when Yunha noticed a car's headlights beamed into the living room for a second through the huge window glasses and went off.

Yunha tiptoed up to one of the windows to witness two men coming out of a car in cap and mask.

They had parked the car at the porch. Those men looked suspicious.

While Yunha pulled out her gun from her back to prepare it for action, as she lifted her face, she saw one of the men talking on the phone to someone.

As soon as he was done talking on the phone, the man signaled the other towards the mansion's backside, so the man walked to the backside of the mansion as ordered.

And the other one walked towards the main entrance.

Yunha held her gun tightly and ran behind the sofa. She waited for the man to come in.

When the man simply broke the lock and walked inside, his footsteps echoed in the hall.

Yunha inhaled the cold air smoothly as she watched the man walk towards the stairs, hiding behind the huge sofa.

Suddenly the man's phone buzzed, and he picked up the call.

As he spoke, 'Don't worry, tomorrow you'll get the news of Haeun's death,' which Yunha heard clearly, so she prepared herself for the next.

Right after the man stepped on the first stair step, Yunha abruptly came out of her ambush and shot the man in his head.

The man didn't get a chance to fight, and his soul left his body. His body fell on the ground lifeless.

While the gun didn't sound as it had a silencer, Yunha sighed.

She remembered the other man was somewhere in the house, and she had to take care of him too.

So she slowly walked towards the back of the house.

She had prepared herself fully before starting to work. She had the blueprint of this mansion too.

When Yunha approached the door finally, she hid herself beside the door. It hadn't been broken yet.

But Yunha could sense the man's presence outside of the door.

When the door finally opened and the man came in, Yunha took the chance of the man's unawareness of her presence and kicked him hard on his back, which made him fall to the ground.The man groaned in pain.

Since Yunha didn't give him a chance to fight back, she hit his head with the gun, and the man went unconscious.
