Taemin was sleeping peacefully under his warm blanket, but the sound of the doorbell woke him up.

He removed the blanket from his face first when the sunlight directly hit his face.

As he stretched his body and yawned, he had worked too late on the murder case last night, so he slept until 11 in the morning.

The bell rang again. This time the visitor rang the bell aggressively multiple times.

When Taemin lazily got out of his bed without opening his eyes, he slipped on his slippers and crossed his living space, rubbing his eyes to reach the door.

Taemin finally opened the door, revealing Jiyoo. As he frowned finding her at his doorstep, she looked so angry, literally exhaling fire through her nose.

As she walked inside the apartment passing Taemin, stomping her feet on the ground, Taemin didn't ask Jiyoo any questions.

Instead, he closed the door behind and walked inside to find Jiyoo sitting on the sofa, crossing her arms.

When Taemin cleared his throat and asked, 'Have you had your breakfast?'

'NO,' she roared, as Taemin gulped down his saliva in fear.

Jiyoo was the scariest when she was angry or upset.

So without wasting any time, Taemin went to his open kitchen and took out a pack of ramen from the cupboard.

For the next few minutes, he prepared the noodles for Jiyoo, while Jiyoo was silently sitting on the sofa.

After a while, when the noodles were cooked, Taemin served them in a bowl with chopsticks and took it to Jiyoo.

As he served the bowl on the center table near Jiyoo, she took a glance at the bowl, then looked at Taemin.

'Eat it up.'

When Jiyoo took the bowl and chopsticks in her hand and started to eat, Taemin took a seat opposite to Jiyoo on a single sofa chair. He was relieved that she was eating.

After a while, when Jiyoo finished the food and put down the bowl in its place, she looked calm. Her anger had vanished.

Finally facing Taemin, she inquired, 'Aren't you going to eat?'

'I'll eat, but before that, tell me what happened with you?'

'I'm so angry at my two brothers. Last night they didn't come back home,' Jiyoo pouted.

'What? Did you call them?' Taemin inquired.

'Yeah, but as usual, they aren't picking up. They don't care about me. I'm not going back home; I'll be staying here,' she declared.

As she stood up and walked inside Taemin's room, Taemin sighed, knowing he wouldn't be able to change her mind.

She was a stubborn kid.

After the meeting with the investors, Haeun signed some papers for Yunha.

Then Yunha walked Haeun to the car as Haeun had to meet Mr. Gu, the owner of a renowned five-star hotel chain, for lunch.

As Haeun settled in the car, Aiden pulled out onto the road. He knew where he needed to go: a five-star hotel named 'Rising Sun', which was owned by Mr. Gu.

Aiden knew Mr. Gu wasn't at all a very nice person; he could be as bad-tempered as a mad dog.

So Aiden looked at Haeun through the rear-view mirror and asked, 'Are you going to meet Mr. Gu alone?'

'Yes, why do you ask?' Haeun demanded, facing Aiden's direction. She knew where Aiden was.

'I told you, I'll help you fight your enemies, and Mr. Gu isn't that good when it comes to a business deal.'

Haeun sighed. She didn't know what Aiden's exact intention was behind all these questions and statements.

'I know, Mr. Gu is kind of a jerk,' Haeun stated in a low voice.

When Aiden braked the car, parking it on the roadside abruptly, Haeun startled.

And Aiden turned back to face Haeun, who was trying to solve the puzzle of Aiden's sudden action.

'As your bodyguard, can I request something?' Aiden's voice reached Haeun, breaking the silence.

She nodded.

Aiden took out a blue box from his coat pocket. He then opened the box revealing a little butterfly-shaped pretty brooch.

'I have a brooch for you which has a hidden micro speaker in it. As you will go there alone...'

'You don't have to explain; I know what you are planning to do. I'll wear it,' Haeun spoke, cutting off Aiden's sentence.

Aiden put the box back inside his coat pocket with a relieved face. 'Thanks,' he whispered, enough for her to hear.

Haeun smiled secretly, and Aiden drove towards their destination.

After some time, when they finally reached the hotel, Aiden helped Haeun out of the car.

Haeun was noticing Aiden all the time; he was so dedicated to his job, especially towards his words from that party night.

'Give me the brooch, I'll tie it on my dress,' Haeun spoke, stretching her hand out for the brooch.

Aiden didn't hand over the brooch to her; instead, he took out the box from his pocket and requested, 'Allow me to do it for you.'

Haeun didn't say anything but pulled back her hand and took one step ahead.

Aiden got his answer as he took out the brooch from the box and stepped near Haeun.

She was wearing a formal dress with a coat. As Aiden bent down to Haeun's level to clip the brooch on her coat carefully yet gently.

Haeun's breath became uneven as she could sense Aidan's presence near her. He was standing close to her.

Haeun stood there like a doll who had waited a lot for the one who would care for her genuinely. And maybe she was slowly discovering the one.

When Aidan was done, he backed off and looked at her. She was already looking at him with her hair open, tangling in the air.

She looked beautiful, and the brooch complimented her dress nicely.

Slowly, Aidan was becoming hypnotized due to all the elements around him: the air, beaming sunlight, and lastly Haeun.

Especially when Aidan tried to believe that Haeun was looking at him, he became more and more hypnotized.
