Mr. Kim not only managed the mafia business, but also ran a security business dealing with cyber security, biometric security, surveillance, and home security. The team even offered trained bodyguards. Seojoon oversaw this operation, using it as a front for their other activities.

Despite Aiden being Seojoon's stepbrother, Seojoon deeply cared for him, as their father had adopted Aiden when he was just 11 years old.

Aiden, who struggled initially to adapt to his new life in a foreign country, found comfort in Seojoon, his older brother by 3 years, who took care of him like his own sibling.

This bond was also the reason why Aiden held such a soft spot for Seojoon. Aiden also held deep respect for Mr. Kim, who treated him like his own child.

Mr. Kim had a daughter, Kim Jiyoo, who was 2 years younger than Aiden and was cherished by both her brothers and father as the youngest in the family.

Five years ago, when Jiyoo left her school to join university, her father sent her to Scotland, UK, in order to save her from his enemies.

Jiyoo never wanted to leave her country; no one told her the reason behind her sudden departure. As she had no idea about their family's mafia business, she had always been blindfolded. In the end, she had to leave.

Seojoon served two bowls of ramen on the kitchen counter and sat on one of the counter stools.

He waited for Aiden. Aiden came there wearing a white t-shirt and sweatpants. He took a seat beside Seojoon. Water drops dripped from his hair.

'Let's eat,' Aiden grabbed the chopsticks to dig in his bowl.

'Why don't you dry your hair?'

'I don't like to,' Aiden answered politely as he started to eat, and so did Seojoon.

'Seojoon brother, do you know the owner of Park Group of Companies?'

'I heard the owner is a girl, Park Haeun, but no one has ever seen her, and no one knows where she lives. She is a mystery.'

Aiden nodded, lost in his thoughts. Seojoon frowned and flicked his fingers before Aiden's eyes. He startled Aiden as Aiden looked at his elder brother, 'Can you tell me anything else about her?'

'I don't know much, but tomorrow there's a party at Park Group's main branch; rumors say she can be there,' Seojoon explained.

Until Aiden accepted this mission, Aiden thought he could do anything. There was nothing he couldn't do. But for the first time in his life, Aiden felt an unknown alarming feeling. The mission felt so heavy. Maybe because his father was deeply related to this mission.

When, out of the blue, Seojoon asked, 'Do you know where Yunha is?'

'No,' Aiden answered straight. As he further stood up from his stool, 'I gotta go, I have to wake up early tomorrow. Good night.'

'Night,' Seojoon smiled. Aiden left the kitchen. But Seojoon looked upset about something.

The next day, early in the morning, when the bustling city was asleep, the roads were quiet and deserted.

A brown SUV stopped a few feet away from the murder spot of Mr. Kang.

The sky was all clouded, and the roads were wet due to the rain. This road didn't have houses, except for some old street lamps. CCTV cameras were a myth.

When two men came out of the car and walked towards the crime spot, one of the men, who looked to be in his early 40s, was dressed like a detective out of a classic mystery novel. The other one, who appeared to be in his early 20s, was dressed casually and looked like a character straight out of a novel.

When they reached the spot, the police had already taken over the area and sealed it. Kang's body had been covered and was still on the ground. The experts were collecting evidence and searching the area.

A police officer saluted the older man, saying, 'Good morning, Detective Jung.'

Detective Jung instructed the policeman to lower his hand as he crossed the police seal to reach Mr. Kang's body.

Meanwhile, the other boy asked, 'Have you found any clues?'

'No, Sub-Inspector Lee,' the policeman replied.

'Lee Tae Min,' Detective Jung called for the boy.

As Taemin approached the body, Detective Jung had already started examining it while kneeling on the ground.

When Taemin joined him, Detective Jung confirmed, 'He is the founder of a chemical and drug industry.'

'Sir, do you think he was killed due to rivalry?' After Taemin's question, the detective answered, 'That's possible.'

Detective Jung glanced at Kang's abandoned car, remarking, 'The killer is very cunning.'

'You are right, sir. Initially, the police haven't found any clues.'

They both stood up. Suddenly, the policeman from earlier came and reported, 'Sir, the highway CCTV cameras have spotted Mr. Kang's car. From the footage, we are assuming a black sedan was following Mr. Kang's car. But the CCTV cameras have failed to capture the number plate as the car was racing fast.'

Listening to the policeman, Detective Jung fell into deep thoughts. He turned to Mr. Kang's lifeless body and asked, 'Who is your murderer, Mr. Kang?'
