He was able to sleep a few hours peacefully before being woken up again by Ron.

"Young master it's almost dinner time and you have guests."

"What guests?" He was still lying in his bed with his eyes closed. He just wanted to go back to sleep and not see anyone, he had enough visitors to last a lifetime.

"Young master Taylor and Miss Cage."

Now, he was awake, it was rather well finally he needed to meet them anyway even if he was curious to know the reason that had pushed them to come see him. He was not stupid this stupid god must have spoken to them, remains to be seen what he told them.

He changed with the help of the butler to join the two in the living room of the estate.

Once inside the room, it finally seemed that there would be three of them. Basen must have been informed of their arrival as well. It was going to be more complicated to talk to them in the presence of his brother.

"Hello young master Cale. » Taylor greeted him as soon as he noticed his presence.

"Hello young master Taylor, Miss Cage." He greeted both of them before they were next to Basen.

"Why are you here?" He wasn't going to sit through a long conversation, he might as well get straight to the point.

"We have something for you and it seems you have something for us as well." Cale could see Taylor sneak a glance at Basen.

"Basen can you-"

"Don't even think about it." He glared at his brother, does he think he's that stupid to not have noticed Taylor's actions?

"*sigh* Well, what did the god of death tell you?" All three were surprised by the young master's request. Taylor and Cage wondered how he knew while Basen simply wondered why the god of death was raised here.

"He told me that you should be careful with ancient powers and not take them." Cage answered him with a smile, Cale Henituse seemed more interesting than the rumors about him.

"And if it's already too late ?" He was really going to kill that god, why didn't he warn him sooner ? Once again...

"What?" Basen seemed shocked just like Taylor, they had a common question. How did he find an ancient power that is a power only granted by gods? Even though Taylor was convinced that the god of death had a role here.

"You must not use them or you risk dying faster." Cage seemed to listen to a voice before answering the question.

"Excuse me?! How come faster?!" Basen shouted this time, he really needed to understand the things he was missing here. This really didn't sound good.

"It's a long story but the god of death is currently looking for a solution to my problem." He tried to remain vague, he couldn't tell his brother the truth without making him panic more.

"What problem?" He frowned at Cale's words. He had thought about his anemia but why he felt that it wasn't the right answer.

"Something with his soul that-"

"Shut up!" Cale stopped Cage's words but it was already too late, she was confused, she just wanted to help.

Basen was able to calm down before trying to strangle his brother. He took a deep breath before speaking again. "I want to know everything and you're not going to hide anything from me anymore, you understand otherwise I swear I'll convince our parents to never let you leave the estate again." He obviously wasn't going to do it but the last discussion this morning had been enough for him and now this...he's going to have gray hair before he even becomes an adult.
