After the honeymoon, Maria suddenly woke up feeling nauseous. She went to the bathroom and vomited. She thought that she probably ate something bad, so she scoffed it off. Soon, she began to feel cramps and fatigue. Her body would randomly get tired and in pain. However, not only that, her appetite apparently increased as she started to crave a lot of things even during the night.

Noelia was worried about Maria's condition and he asked for it. Maria just said that she probably had a sickness but Noelia wasn't sure if it was true. He told his mother about it and she could only tell that Maria might be pregnant. It was best to check if she was or not. Noelia agreed and went to Maria.

Noelia asked Maria for her permission to get a pregnancy test which she granted since there would be nothing wrong. So they went to the doctor and conducted a test. The results were news breaking. Maria was indeed pregnant with Noelia's child, the couple were both overjoyed to see that they would have their first child and it was a boy.

They informed the news to their families and relatives which they received okay. They were all excited for Noelia and Maria's newborn son, especially Rosa who always wanted a grandchild.

"This could be my time to be the cool uncle and we're gonna play with guns all day!" said Norris excitedly.

"No you're not, your job is to be a good example," said Elena pulling Norris' ear.

"Okay okay!" said Norris.

Elena sighed and said, "You are about to grow a goatee and you're still like this?"

"Elena!" said Norris embarrassingly.

Noelia with the help of his family cared for Maria during her pregnancy. He comforted Maria during her hard times. He lent his time to her if she needed it or not. Noelia would do anything to ensure the safety of his wife and their upcoming newborn son.

When Maria was baking cupcakes, she felt liquid coming and realized that her water broke. She immediately alerted Noelia, Noelia hurriedly drove her to the hospital. Maria was hyperventilating and struggling for air.

"Just hang in there, dear. I'll get you to the hospital!" said Noelia.

He went to the receptionist and said, "My wife's going into labor!"

"Okay..." said the receptionist, surprised and slowly putting down the phone.

Maria was brought to the delivery room. An obstetrician entered the room then asked Noelia if he could wait outside as the delivery procedure was about to begin. Noelia nodded and exited the room.

Noelia waited outside anxiously, he was worried if something might happen to his beloved wife. He tried to peek in but couldn't see even a glance which made him more anxious.

The obstetrician appeared out from the door and allowed Noelia to come in. Noelia heard the cries of a baby and saw that his wife had finally given birth to a healthy baby boy. The two were overjoyed, Noelia held his newborn son as he looked with pride.

"What should we name him?" he asked.

"I already thought of a name before, let's call him 'Enrique'." Maria answered.

The rest of the family joined in, they were thrilled with their new family member. They also brought along gifts both for the couple and the baby. The family congratulated the couple then they took turns to hold the baby.

"No way! Is this girl?" Norris asked, holding the baby. "Because, this looks more like his mother."

"Because the mother's genes are the dominant genes of the baby and that's a boy," said Isabela.

"I see," Norris replied.

"Heh, he wouldn't like it if I said it," said Manuel in his head.

Then Noelia finally held his son again and lifted him up.

"Y'know this was what your uncle did when you were born," said Rosa.

"I see. In that case, I felt proud doing the same with my son!" Noelia replied with a smile.

Two years after the birth of their newborn son Enrique, Maria gave birth to another child and this time, it was a girl. Noelia named her after his aunt 'Sofia' who treated them with kindness when they were allowed to stay during their honeymoon. Noelia and Maria were joyous with their children and hoped that they would continue to live as a happy family...
